Honored Othram could assist, once again, the Knox County Regional Forensic Center in identifying a 2022 John Doe as Cody S. Wilhite, born January 8th, 1991.

The Othram team is running a new Webinar series. The intended audience is forensics and law enforcement, but if anyone is interested, the first two webinars are now posted.

The webinars are recorded live and then posted on our research site, twice a month!

Forensic genetic genealogy has been supported by limited budgets, and volunteer efforts, but these efforts aren’t sustainable. A federally funded forensic infrastructure is essential, as it was when STR and CODIS testing came to prominence.

Grab our newest shirt and remind the world that facts matter. Bonus: net proceeds help fund unsolved DNASolves cases!

Forensic genetic genealogy is revolutionizing forensics, but the transition from traditional methods, like STR testing, to SNP testing requires specialized expertise, dedicated tools, and proper metrics to ensure success. Victims and their families deserve the best chance for answers and justice. Our team recognized this in 2018 (this is why we built Othram), but it is even more important in 2024, when more and more cases are being considered for this new technology.

This is one I'm sure a lot of people have been waiting for. Her thread is quite extensive!

Rest in peace, Pamela.
