Art says he is there pro bono... others say he is there, paid by an unnamed source... he, himself says he is there until he money runs out. So which is it...

Cobra seems to want to leave an air of mystery about him. Sometimes I get the feeling he believes he lives in a TV world. As to Haleigh, one moment I think his input is positive; the next moment I think he's a show-and-tell.

I emailed Art Harris yesterday concerning the video of TN and COBRA at that dwelling in the woods..There was a reply in my email box this morning.. Below is his reply to me...
Let me add, I posted the email that I sent to him on his site this morning if anyone is interested in reading the questions I presented to him...

"Post this on my website and I will comment for all to see. But I can tell you I shot the Cobra video and it was edited the way it happened, just shortened. Cobra has been there pro bono, and is not working for Picazio, though they do have a relationship, and he’s gotten tips for all sides. I feel confident if he uncovers information that is favorable or unfavorable to either side, he will report it to LE—unlike some unethical investigators in the Anthony case who were hired to spin and allegedly cover up for their clients. tx "

But there is one man very visibly and actively out searching the area, a private investigator and bounty hunter from Miami who goes by the name of "Cobra."

William "Cobra" Staubs has been in Satsuma for more than a week. He is searching woods on his own and following up on leads. He says he is making progress.

"Investigators have five weeks working on this, I've had one week and I've caught up...now I have to connect all the dots," says Cobra.

Cobra visited the home of an accused sex offender Friday, and earlier in the week he asked Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin Cummings to re-enact the night Haleigh disappeared.

Cobra is paid partly by an anonymous donor in Miami. He says he will stay in Satsuma until his money runs out.

Also Friday, the Putnam County Sheriff's office told First Coast News that deputies were involved in looking into allegations of child abuse or neglect by Ronald Cummings three times in the last four years.

but I thought he checked out for not being in Satsuma
during time frame Haleigh went missing...?

the last time anyone allegedly saw him was i think on feb.1st and he was reported missing on feb.4th so i dont think anyone knows where he was when haleigh went missing.does anyone know if it was the sametrailer park as haleighs where he committed his 1st offense?i onlyread it was a trailer in putnam co

I wonder if there was anyone to prove that he was at home besides Crystal if that is where he said that he was? He could have zipped to Satsuma and zipped over to where they had planned to leave Haleigh and then on home. I think Crystal said it takes 2 hours or less from Ron's to her house. Not that time consuming a drive.

If we considered the time of night or early morning I would think the drive time would be less than that. (minimum traffic at those hours). I always thought it was weird how Maria is the one that validated his alibi.

Question... if someone wasn't paying him to be there, would he still be there? There's a big difference between him being there to find Haleigh, and him being paid to find Haleigh... ( Why do some non-LE people have to be paid in the first place to go look for missing children? Seriously... it's a missing child... price tags should never be attached to them, to get someone to look for them.)

That does not make sense. PI's are paid for their services. It is a living. I teach, but i sure wouldn't if i wasn't paid for it.

I dunno... If he got sent a slew of questions that might have been written in a scary tone his difficulty to respond might have been in reply to the entirety of the thing and not just that one question about about the filming of the one video. It sounds to me like he decided to sleep on it so that he could answer more politely. At least, that's when I find myself writing e-mails like that.

I agree. IMOO it would do more harm than good in this investigation at this time. WE are not here to hinder but to be of assistance (how at this point IDK). We as the public that believe or have reason to believe that this is the case will definitely have our say when all the investigative work has been done and the abductors and participants are arrested and the truth is revealed. If I am wrong in my assumptions of the evidence I will be the first to admit it and never contribute to a case in a Forum again. I will not be barking I was right nor patting my self on the back, I will in the for front of those that will hang their head with sadness that this had to happen to a beautiful innocent child. JUST MOO

However I do not believe an internet forum will resolve this case in the real world. If people are truly concerned that a miscarriage of Justice is being planned here and the investigation has been a play day ... assemble your legions - storm the Bastille!!!

Well thats the thing, see, I think some are more interested in custody then in finding this child.
No one is going to find her sitting under a chair while editing videos or making the media rounds.....just saying

Thank you for the encouragement to continue on, but would find I would definitely question my ability to contribute. I have never participated before in any Forum and this case has been an obsession that my family has had no patience with nor understanding for my concern nor passion to help. I will definatly visit and share coffee over disscusions of other topics tho.

Wow! talk about spin. Those videos are very slanted toward one side of the family.
