What's his record for?

I think he is being EXTRA helpfull because he's probably one of those deadbeat dads and he is trying to inflate his ego by saying that the ex and him communicate and he's a good daddy and such. If the ex had something to do with this, surely the current dh would be on the news talking up a storm about the ex and pointing fingers IMO. Umm, where is hubby??? Has anyone seen him on tv? BTW fox is now identifying him, he's a lawn guy or something like that (oh and he's 52 according to his myspace)

I don't buy this guy did anything. Involving a woman to make those phone calls, with the FBI in on this, I think they would have been smart enough to get confirmation of Bonnie's voice from more than just the current husband.

From what I've seen here at WS, it's surprisingly easy to get your girlfriend to stage a crime scene or give you a false alibi. We have no information at all about how or IF Bonnie's voice has been verified.
It makes less sense to me that a mom would leave 2 children behind and willingly disappear.

well, if it were my kid out there, I'd be as extra helpful as anything.
What's his record? Is it against his family or with violence? If they've been long divorced, what would be a reason for him to do something?

I just saw someone pull out their cell phone from their bra a few days ago -- that was a first for me - LOL!

I keep mine in my pants/shorts pocket. I never seem to hear it ring and the vibrate lets me know when I have a call. It freaks me out every time, but at least I know the phone is ringing:)

This abduction took place within a 2 minute walking distance to the police station. There is no way car thieves would also steal the passengers and thrown them in the trunk if they were after the car. That would imply a targeted hit. But a targeted hit so close to the police station??

It is actually believed to have happened at CENTRAL (not Center) and Rte 132--and NOT 232 and 132 as originally reported....

I agree with that Steadfast, its not impossible for a mistress to help. Just think LE would have made sure her older daughter or someone truly confirmed this is her voice before making a statement to the media that she did phone.

What makes sense to me is that she harmed her 9 yr old and made up a story with 'black men' abduction. That type of thing has been used by many people in the past. The guy who shot his pregnant wife years back claimed they were carjacked and Susan Smith are the 1st two stories that come to mind.

I don't think she disappeared to keep her 9 yr old with her, I think something more sinister happened making her come up with a story that is already full of holes.

exactly---it is too close to that station for NOTHING to have been seen---

Also--just spoke with a friend who lives in neighborhood close to post office...said they heard no sirens--nothing...I was literally 1/4 mile away at this time and heard and saw NOTHING

this is bizarre....
 
If they split up, Bonnie moving would be a good reason to take Julia and put her in another school. So that part makes sense.

Monday, Julia was with her father. Tuesday, Mom leaves baby and 15yo daughter to take Julia to the doctor. They never make it.

I have to go back one of my first questions. Is it possible that sexual abuse or physical abuse would have been discovered at the appointment? If Bonnie even suspected it...would she have confronted her ex or her current? Or could Bonnie have lost it and caused harm to Julia?

I agree that this is the ol' "black men abduction" story, I'm just not sure who is using it and why.

hmmm, maybe Julia told daddy that mom pulled her out of school? Maybe Bonnie lost it because of this, or Bonnie and hubby lost it because of something and planned this.

It doesn't give too much detail: Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkeness, Resisting arrest.
