PHILADELPHIA - May 27, 2009 (WPVI) -- More questions are surfacing in the case of a missing mother and daughter from Feasterville, Pa.
Police found the SUV belonging to the missing woman, Bonnie Sweeten, 38, early Wednesday morning at 15th and Chestnut in Center City Philadelphia.
The vehicle, a GMC Yukon Denali, had a parking ticket on it with a time stamp of 2:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say Sweeten called them just before 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, saying she and her daughter, Julia Rakoczy, 9, had been kidnapped after a traffic crash in Upper Southampton, Pa. That 20 minute window would be an incredibly tight timeframe to get from the suburban town to the heart of the city.
Furthermore, police say they traced Sweeten's first 911 call to a cell phone tower near the location where where the SUV was found, indicating it may have been there the entire time. http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=6832725

I checked with the dvr on super slow and you can see two people (I assume at least one is the officer seen getting out of the van walking towards the open garage) inside and at the back of the garage.

I didn't see them. Wonder what they could be looking for? It doesn't look like she parks in there. Lots of stuff in there. I wonder if the husband is still living in the home with her? I'm betting the 15 yr old could put alot of light on the family life.

Missing 9 year old had re-registered in Neshaminy School DistrictBensalem school officials Wednesday confirmed that Julia, who attended Belmont Hills Elementary, had withdrawn from the district May 1 — and her older sister Paige Alexandra, 15, had also withdrawn, though, before Julia, sources say.

Neshaminy Superintendent Louis Muenker confirmed Wednesday that both Julia and Paige registered in the district, which covers Lower Southampton, about a month ago. The district has also spoken with staff and it has make school counselors available to students.

I think he must be because I read earlier where a kid who works for him and his mother rushed to the home when they heard the news and it was showing that house.

So is Paige Julia's half sister? Is Alexandra her last name or middle? Not that it matters. I'm just trying to figure out if mom did something why this child and not the others?

A different article i found:

The fender-bender happened before 2pm at Street Road and Second Street Pike in Upper Southampton Township.

FBI special agent JJ Klaver says 38-year-old Bonnie Sweeten called 911 and told dispatchers she was calling from the trunk of a black Cadillac, where she was huddled with her daughter, Julia Rakoczy (above). Sweeten said two men had forced her and her daughter into the trunk after their sedan rear-ended her SUV.

Sweeten's cell phone signal was lost in the area of the 200 block of South 12th Street in Center City -- more than 20 miles away from the scene of the reported accident.

"We've been in contact with a lot of people. I believe that she's estranged from her husband so we are talking to a lot of different people to try and get as much information as we can about where she and her daughter may be."

I bolded the phrase about being estranged from her husband for emphasis. I saw this on tv late last night, but I am just now able to get on the computer and catch up on this thread. I have not read all of it yet, so forgive me if this has been covered in detail, but have police released any statements about her husband? Has he been interviewed, etc?

WTH???

Just started following this one. My hinky meter is pinging.

Questions I have:

I read in several news reports that Bonnie made 7 calls to 911 during this alleged abduction?
Seven?! Can anyone back that up?

In the calls, Bonnie states that SHE was forced into the trunk of the Cadillac but that her daughter remained in the Denali? Is that correct? (If so, it seems as though she's setting it up to be found without the girl)

Have any of the calls been released to the public or transcribed somewhere?

The police went to the supposed crash scene but found NO evidence of a crash? None? (I work for a body shop -- even the most minor of fender benders leaves something behind: plastic clips break off, plastic pieces from headlamp or tail lamp assemblies, etc.)

Well the pic of the back of the suv shows no scratches on the back of the bumper or under the bumper/hitch. Doesn't look like ther was an accident.

Now i would like to know if they have positively identified the voice on the 911 call.

In pic #8 it looked like scratches on the right rear bumper. But it could have been the angle.
Although in light of what is being reported I don't think this car was in an accident that day.

I would love to know if the voice has been ID'd as Bonnie's by someone other than her current husband.

This concerns me... that she and her were forced into the trunk? Then FBI says in a later call her child was in the SUV? :waitasec:

Is this poor journalism creating errors or were 2 different stories told by the mother?

It's on Headline News now.

FBI is involved, along with local police. Nancy Grace will be covering the case tonight at 8pm eastern, and 10pm eastern.

But she could have just done that herself, backed into a post or something to make 'minor' damage?

Given that she 'lied' about the accident, her call at 2pm places her near her abandoned SUV, not south hampton like she tried to say.

She also could have done it herself by even doing something simple like hitting it with a shopping cart. My SUV got scratched and dented by a shopping cart in a Target parking lot. Anything is possible.

hmmm, maybe Julia told daddy that mom pulled her out of school? Maybe Bonnie lost it because of this, or Bonnie and hubby lost it because of something and planned this.

In the video interview, Julia's dad wanted to make sure that everyone knew that the school move was planned and that he was well aware of when and why it had been done.

this case is mind boggling! Pass the duct tape so I can wrap my head please!!

Actually there are three stories being reported.

Steadfast has a good post in post #43(don't know how to link posts) where all the inconsistencies regarding which vehicle they were in are laid out with their sources listed.

I am not sure if it is poor journalism or the mother creating the many stories, but this is crazy.

Here is a case where the person who is reportedly abducted calls LE and tells them exactly what reportedly happened and we can't even get a straight story on which car mom ended up in and which car daughter ended up in.
Ugh!
