This story is heartbreaking. I am just glad the baby made it out alive and will hopefully go to a wonderful and loving family that will cherish her forever.

why in the world would you do that to a baby? what a horrible . i hope that SOB and his girlfrined rot in hell. this story brought tears to my eyes and I can only hope that baby will never see her "parents" agian. i so bady just want to get my babies up from their nap and hug them.

OMG... I am sick to my stomach after reading this.

Here I am praying to God that the baby I am carrying and myself make it and live, while 's like this have kids everyday.

What in the hell is wrong with this picture?!?!?!?! :furious:

What I don't understand is his bond is $75,000....what, he need's only $7,500 to post bail? This guy can be out walking the streets.
They need to lock his butt up for good. :behindbar
My heart is breaking for this little girl. She didn't ask to be born.

Somerset County -- Reports show, a father, who told police he stunned his newborn daughter with an electric prod and smashed her head off of a sink, was also abused as a child.

Court documents show Brandon Austill was sexually assaulted by a family member, physically and mentally abused by his parents and lived in squalor.

Austill's parents were stripped of their parental rights while he was a young teen. Later, court documents from the Court of Appeals in Jackson, Tenn., showed his parents attempted to regain custody of their six children in 1999.

According to the documents, Austill and his brother slept in the basement of their home where a hole in the wall allowed standing water to form on the floor.

A family counselor said Austill and another family member were repeatedly neglected, physically abused and sexually assaulted by an uncle.

The final portion of the document said the children's many physical and mental deficiencies were too numerous and varied to list.

Austill was arraigned this week on more than 30 charges of physical abuse upon his own baby, including poking her with an electric prod when the infant wouldn't stop crying.

Through their investigation, police also uncovered Austill's MySpace.com account, which was full of dark entries. One posting said, "I see it happen, yet do nothing... I can't fix it alone. I have no one to help me."

Somerset Borough Police Chief Randy Cox said, "We are aware that parental rights were severed by the state of Tennessee for (Austill) and his siblings ... but that has no bearing on our part of the investigation."

Cox also said police have been told of, but have not confirmed, allegations of drug abuse by Austill.

Cox urged residents to contact authorities the moment they notice someone may be abusive or using drugs in order to possibly avoid incidents such as this.

Bloody boo-hoo! i couldn't give a fig about this 's past abuse against him issues - all the more to NOT do it to another child! :furious:

he's scum. throw him away. forever. :furious: :furious: :furious:

I want to know more about the so-called mother. Was she working and this loser supposed to be watching the baby? Perhaps hell is too good for him. Please bear with me if I once again repeat Ann Landers' famous line: "It is unfortunate that children are so readily available to anyone biologically able to produce them."

O.K. I'm not too swift. What's this amount to? Anyone?

BTW, I'd say the guy is off his toot. Not excusing it, but obviously not all there. Indeed I did see his roster.

Oh, O.K. here's an interview Austill's mother gave. She feared for the baby's life. Mom lives back in Tennessee. She admits her kids were all taken from her. However, she says Brandon always had trouble.

i guess thats the best we could hope for. any updates on the baby/child?

filly id say since its concurrent the max sentence.....20 years

Back to back it means -

5.5 to 20 years

AND THEN

2 - 10 years

AND THEN

2 - 10 years

Consecutive sentences run after each other. Concurrent sentences run at the same time as each other.

Where was the MOTHER???????????????? This is disgusting. How and WHY would any human being do something like this? I'm losing faith in the human race more and more every single day.
