Probably Carter but this does show you that what I posted is true that it takes a long time to come up when the water is cold. I feel very bad for families. We couldn't find my sister at first. Then they did but in my heart I knew she was gone..She was taken from where she worked and the blood trail started there. But it was a matter of two days...This long would be so hard...

Opposite sides. Mon and Allegheny flow into Ohio. I believe it was mentioned it was possibly someone who went missing around the same time DJ did, but was most likely a suicide.

I really liked this woman's idea about the taunting...I thought about that too. A killers mind thinks quite differently and finds enjoyment in suffering.

I am sorry but I don't think he is a alive but rather this is someone that did something to him enjoying the fact of what they have done and gotten away with. Also enjoying tormenting parents, police, search party's, and everyone trying to find him. While they sit back and know exactly what, where, how, and everything else you can imagine they did to him. Just Evil...

Of course I feel this way because I have faced someone like this in court that murdered my sister. They have no HEART...

The Waterfront area is right under the Homestead High-Level Bridge. So, so sad.

It was in the upper 70s here yesterday and unseasonably warm all week. Perhaps that was a factor with this body surfacing.

My heart goes out to those poor families.

I find it odd that they discounted the order as a hoax soo quickly. I wish they would be a little more transparent on how they arrived at that. Did they trace the order to another location? I would think that they would have the ability to do this...

If he is actually being held and did come across internet access the most obvious method of getting help would be email or a social media account. Perhaps he thought that his message would be seen quicker at that time of day via a food order. I'd imagine that restaurants monitor those pretty closely so it would actually be very smart of him.

Did they check to see if he's ever ordered from this place in the past via that method? Again, I would think they or the application would have the ability to check. If he DID order from them, then he would 1) know that this functionality exists 2) he would have a sense of how quickly the restaurants respond. I'm hoping they at minimum looked in to that...

Also, I'm wondering if they went door to door around the house from the order. He could have easily gotten the house number wrong. Or even did some research of surrounding towns with similar street addresses. He may be mistaken of the town but have the street address right.

There is soo much unknown out there, I cant even imagine the pain that his loved ones are going through.

I've seen a lot of people saying that he doesn't look drunk in the image but I'm not sure you can deduce that from the still image alone. The full video, as short as it may be, would be much more telling of his state that night. If he's seen stumbling or walking abnormally I think it makes the idea of him ending up in the river much more feasible. With everything, or should I say as little, as there is out there I'm not sold on the fact that he ended up in the river on his own. He would have had to make a few bad decisions for this to happen.

The screen capture image LE released shows not only DJ but also one, if not two other persons in Katz Plaza. LE most likely will not release the source video to protect those individuals from public scrutiny / harassment.

I just saw there will be "finger tip" (no drones, etc) searches this weekend at North Park north of the city and Riverview Park on the Northside.
Really seems to be not much going on. I wonder if they ever got his phone records. It's crazy how someone can just diappear...

If so, I wish that information would be shared. Without it, it's harder for me to justify volunteering for additional searches. If there's solid information that leads people to think that North Park is in play, I would absolutely search.

Earlier in the month, or possibly late last month, I seem to remember that a relative posted on one of the FB threads indicating or hinting at the fact that police may have thought Dakota may have committed suicide. It sounds like the police perhaps are of that thinking and the family is not. Could it be that the family is extending its searches not based on info from the police? I'm just confused about the flow of information.

That said, I've never followed a missing person case before. I am wrapped up in this one because I am local and feel for the family's pain. So I'm not sure if this kind of flow of information is normal or not.
