I hated having to bite my tongue on this case. Someone sent me Facebook posts he made early on, and it was absolutely hilarious how he was trying to deflect attention away from himself. He cited a bunch of other cases where law enforcement supposedly wasn’t giving nearly as as much attention as Beth’s was given (search warrants and such).

What an absolute moron.

Hi Everyone,
Forgive me for interrupting but this is important. Please do not post questions about this post on this thread. Go to THIS THREAD to ask questions.

DID YOU KNOW BY THE END OF THE DAY OUR MODS WILL HAVE HANDLED HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF ALERTS? YOU WOULD NOT KNOW THIS BECAUSE THAT IS HOW GOOD THE MODS ARE AT THEIR JOBS.

One of the many things I love about Websleuths is we can come on here, discuss true crime, and not have to deal with all the stupid drama and baloney we have to deal with on other platforms. Do you know why? It is the hard work of our wonderful volunteer moderators.

Because of these incredible moderators, you don't see the following, the trolls that constantly try and disrupt. You don't see the newbies who don't know the rules and post a bunch of unproven rumors in cases, You don't see the mean people insulting your posts, you don't see the stupid threats angry people post, and guess what? I could go on and on. In other words, the mods make your experience the best you can find when it comes to discussing true crime.

If you could donate even one dollar that would be great. If half the people that come to Websleuths today donated one dollar we would be able to give the mods a wonderful bonus for all their hard work.

One hundred percent of the money raised goes to the moderators.

If you cannot donate we completely understand. If you could please post a word of thanks to our mods on THIS THREAD that would be wonderful.

The husband has been arrested! Gruesome details...https://northpennnow.com/heavy-police-presence-gathers-at-home-of-missing-sellersville-woman-husban-p6326-119.htm?fbclid=IwAR1NlFRvT-FWYt53vbl6QV6vmguDx4Y1hnND0iHoTzwUpa4b2r0XLNOZfVc#

Dec. 9, 12:31 p.m. - A spokesperson with the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said they were currently prohibited from releasing information from the case.

"But we hope to address any questions at a news conference late next week," the spokesperson said.
Original story follows…

Dec. 9, 12:08 p.m. - A large police presence has gathered at the Sellersville home of 55-year-old Elizabeth “Beth” Capaldi, who has been missing since Oct. 10.

Sources tell North Penn Now that police vehicles were observed in front of and behind the home along the 200 block of High Street in Sellersville as of late Thursday evening. Then, around 11:30 a.m. Friday morning, additional police and county law enforcement vehicles arrived at the scene.

Rumors quickly spread Friday morning that 57-year-old Stephen Capaldi — Elizabeth’s husband — had been taken into custody at the Bucks County Correctional Facility. North Penn Now has independently confirmed that information via a source with knowledge of the investigation.

No charges at this time have been filed. A search of the Unified Judicial System shows no pending charges for Stephen Capaldi, and a representative with District Judge Regina Armitage’s court said they had no information on him.

Investigators typically have 24 hours to file charges once a person is taken into custody, otherwise they must be released.

Elizabeth Capaldi was last seen at her home in Sellersville during the morning of Monday, Oct. 10. Capaldi was officially

Those railroad tracks where they found her body, the 60th Street Industrial Track of Conrail Shared Assets Operations (CSAO), have not been used for quite a while, as seen not only in the CBS News picture, but also in Google Street View dating from August 2022 which shows pauwlonia trees growing between the rails in some locations. IMO perp knew this, and knew that no train would be coming by anytime soon, and that looky-loos like us are certain to be given the bum's rush by either local LE or DHS.
RIP Beth.

Self-reporting so that we can get some guidance on whether we can treat SC as a POI per TOS at this time.

We know that:

1) SC is reported to be the last person to see BC alive.

2) BC’s NAMUS entry, entered by Bucks County Detectives, indicates that no one other than her husband has seen her alive since the evening before she went missing, so her disappearance may have occurred the evening before his alleged last sighting.

3) BC was reported missing by her daughter, not SC, who lives with her.

4) SC is in the custody of the Bucks County Corrections facility since the early hours of today.

5) SC was absent from the corrections facility throughout the day today and was returned this afternoon. This time period corresponds to the presence of an inmate where remains were found close to the Philadelphia Airport.

6) The home of SC and BC is being searched and treated as a crime scene.

7) Presser not to take place until sometime next week. Charges should come sooner.

Can we treat SC as a POI?
