This is very sad. From her Social Media she appears to be someone who had a pretty rough time of it growing up and desperately wants love and connection for herself and has had a lot of trouble finding it with the partners she's tried to find those things with. She also seems like a decent person who expressed wanting that sort of happiness for all people and animals, and felt beaten down by the world's cruelties (IMO).

If I were the police I'd be following up carefully on her postings from May 20th 2012 and the comments underneath on her older facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/klingererica

I also did notice she re-posted a meme on her new facebook page on May 26 of this year that talks about just walking away one day and starting a new life. I sincerely hope that's what she did.

With the vehicle activity at the fairgrounds, truck traffic and truck stops, walking off to a new life would not be all that difficult. :(

I'd be hesitant to blame someone from 2012 without any evidence they were reunited lately. I think all social media proves is that EK associated with some shady men, her family was sick of it, and she lead a fairly high-drama life. All of her circle seems to be in constant Facebook turmoil.
 
It looks like in October 2012, she was admitted to the hospital. I wonder why

The statements I'm referring to were made very recently, after Erica disappeared. The person who made them had also commented on the 2012 post.
 
On the 8th she posted two things that stood out to me.
1.) she had not worked the shift she was working (off at 2pm) for
2 months and it was going okay.
2.) later in the day she remarked harshly about truckers and how she doesn't back down to anyone.
BZ commented "just be careful, don't get hurt"
 
dear lord, strolling the FB pages, it's like a 3 ring circus. IMO
 
Umm, the woman who was arrested shared info from abc27 news regarding EK missing?!
She shared on June 17, call me befuddled.

Article states Lara has no fixed address. So I wonder then, how long they were at this motel (which has surveillance), and if not long, where they were prior. Because to me it seems very likely that Erica was with them at some point.

Sadly, none of this looks good. Hope I'm wrong.
 
Well, stumbling through Lovely Lara's FB. There is an exchange between EK and a "gentleman" on June 5th about money owed to him by EK and "Mike".

These people are from the area I live. I am blessedly sheltered and have never interacted with this rough a crowd. I'm frankly amazed, if not embarrassed.

Woah, excellent catch. So, she was calling someone she owes money to...and clearly not to pay him back...I'm pondering what circumstance one would do that under...and I can't help but wonder how related this is to the paraphenalia found in the motel room...speculation only of course, but...:(

If you look at Lara's About Me section, she lists a son with the same name as the person commenting on the previously mentioned photo (but Jr). Hmm.

there was a "Mike" that was very prevalent in EK's past, mentioned several times on her facebook
 
In 2010 EK said she had been together with "Mike" for nine years.
Impressive length of time!
