Erica's father has confirmed that the body that was found last night was his daughter;
Erica Lynn Klinger.

A tragic loss. I can only hope the case is solved one day.

RIP Erica. My thoughts and prayers go out to Erica's family and friends.

Are we allowed to speculate on what happened? I've read here a lot but have never posted, so I'm unsure.

I was praying for a different outcome. With the sightings and the messages being "seen". RIP Erica. :( my heart goes out to her family. <3

RIP Erica <3. Such a difficult life, but now she is in no more pain

The two goons involved must really be lacking in the IQ department to drive her car like they did.

I'm going to guess they premeditated this, and Maria started posting the "BFF" pictures of Erica in the days prior as part of their "plan", stupidly thinking it would cause people to doubt them as suspects. Either that or they got high and went into a rage.

Arresting the other person seen driving Erica's car, today, seems like a heck of a coincidence.

I'm glad he is in custody!

My heart is just broken into a million pieces right now. The very first moment I looked at her face when this thread was posted, I could almost feel the sadness and the depression that her eyes were showing. For some reason she has affected me deeply. I try not to get too emotionally attached with the missing people we read about here, but every so often there will be one that I feel a connection to and Erica was one of them. I had read a lot of her posts on FB and she had gone through so much heartache. I pray you are at peace now, Erica. I pray you did not suffer during the last minutes of your life. Rest in peace, angel! I will not forget you!!!!

With love,
beachlvr :(

I so agree. I would check her facebook in hopes she would post. I have my thoughts about what happened. I don't think it was a planned murder. Since needles were found in the car, I'm leaning towards an overdose and they got scared, so they ditched her. I hate to say it. I, myself, struggled with addiction in my younger years, so I just have a feeling about this. Prayers for her family. They are heartbroken. :(
