It took me a second to realize those photos are from 2015. I was sitting here shaking my head and wishing godspeed to the brave person trying to rent that place out right now.

No kidding. Yes, from '15. But, I'll bet is isn't much different now. Evidently - according to Bucks County records - the place is owned by a business... and the mailing address is to a single family residence not far away. [It's all public record, but I'm not sure it's ethical to post more details here.]

Also, has anyone reviewed Sullivan's comic book thing? IIRC - visciouscirclecomics(?).

(Plus he left the suicide note at his residence -- presumably b/c that's where he made the attempt, but also maybe b/c they lived their part or full time and would find it there.)

Blair, I was under the impression that handwritten Jacob Sullivan suicide note was left at/found at 429B SUMMIT AVE location. Is that your understanding too?

Amazing work on your part. David

In this piece, it seems that the note was found at their home in "Horsham". I'm not familiar with area geography any local references, so I don't know to which address it actually refers(?).

Has this been definitely matched to "our" Jacob Patrick Sullivan?

If so... wow. David

https://www.facebook.com/pg/Vicious-Circle-Comics-156351684413147/about Vicious Circle Comics was started by Jake Sullivan in 2010 when he finally launched his comic book Zarlock... which was decades in the making.

I've not seen/heard anything whatsoever about the connection. But I'd be flabbergasted if it isn't the same Sullivan. I made the connection, by cross referencing Facebook friends and the drawers/inkers of Zarlock. Also, remember that Sullivan is/was a draftsman. Some of Zarlock's panels have - what I believe are 'mechanical drawing' (ie. draftsman) characteristics. I'd wager it's him.

EDITING TO ADD:
<modsnip>

I am, like, 95% confident its the same Sullivan. I can't explain why here <modsnip> for whatever that is worth, I think it's a solid guess.

You're right. Sorry, David, I'm getting the locations mixed up. It only makes sense it was found at the Summit Ave. location too.

I am underinformed about Jacob Patrick Sullivan... I thought the media just wasn't covering him much. How did you come to know he was a draftsman? I totally missed that detail.

I did a quick "peoplesearch" on JPS and saw that he had a recent employer, DAN LEPORE AND SONS of Conshohocken, PA. I wonder if he was a draftsman for them.

The artistic details of "Zarlock" remind me of jailhouse art from Manson, Gacy, etc. David

Are you kidding? No apologies needed! :)

The complexity of this case routinely defeats me. It takes a village. David

Draftsman reference is somewhere in the middle of this particular piece. But it's referenced in many others.

Admittedly, nothing is absolute. But IP records, court records, assessment records, phone records, chronology ... all of which are public ... converge such that any reasonable person understands what they mean.

Agreed. And in this case, there's also this, makes the connection way less tenuous:

Same name, same location, same birth date, says he used to work as a draftsman, links to the Facebook & Comic Book pages.

You all really seem to be on to something here with the possible link to the "furry" sex ring in the area.

I'm adding this link to a 2001 Vanity Fair article that I read back then about "furry" groups and conventions. It was a real eye-opener. One of the men interviewed in the article really fits the description of Kenneth Fenske. Even back then he came across as a very disturbed person, talking about practicing bestiality, etc.

In the article, several people talk about also being into drawing, comics, etc. so it seems possible, IMO, that there could be overlap among "furrie" fetishists and people/groups who are into comic books and fantasy.

Keep up the good work. I hope LE is investigating these connections.

FWIW, I am convinced. "Our" Jacob Patrick Sullivan is the author of various works published at...
