age of mom is 25 and she was at BINGO

No, they are not allowed to go play bingo when they have not arranged for the safe care of their children...and just so you know how I think...NO boyfriend should ever be left to care for a single mom's kids! NOT ever! jmo

I completely agree about the BF. Seeing as he abused a prior GF just months before. no way she knew him enough to leave the most important gifts she had her children with him.
As for bingo I loved going to bingo at that age. I left my children with their father though..

sounds like possible shaken baby syn. from this article:

Detective Canofari said a doctor at Children's Hospital told him Kaiyah suffered a traumatic brain injury, consistent with abusive head trauma. The injury was not consistent with a fall down the stairs, the doctor said.

There were no signs of major trauma to her head externally and the abrasions on her body were very minor.
Court records show Mr. George and an ex-girlfriend, Jessica Dodson, met to exchange personal belongings March 14 outside his Dickson Street apartment. Ms. Dodson was sitting in her car when the two began to argue. According to the affidavit, Mr. George opened the car door and dragged her by the hair from the vehicle. Ms. Dodson told police he punched her, threw her to the ground and kicked her before he dragged her back inside the car.

He drove to her home on Voskamp Street where he went inside and began beating on a man there, the affidavit said

Police charged Anthony George, 20, of the North Side, with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He told police that Kaiyah and her sisters, Taliea and Briyanna Beck, were injured when they tumbled down the steps. The girls are triplets.

George could face additional charges now that Kaiyah died. Kaiyah's sisters suffered minor injuries.

"Mr. George gave conflicting statements. That's the issue. That's the problem," said homicide Detective Dale Canofari at a news conference announcing the arrest.

According to a police affidavit, the girls' mother, Jennifer Yali, 25, left the home to play bingo with a friend and George was baby-sitting Kaiyah, Taliea and Briyanna.

Just because your BF says he loves you doesn't mean he gives a fig for your children. Your annoying children compete with him for your attention, interrupt his sleep and remind him you used to belong to "someone else".

If he's battered a previous girlfriend, he'll eventually batter you too. A history of violence is history, like Christopher Columbus history, like George Washington was the first President history. It is factual and informative. You aren't so special that he won't hit YOU, try to possess you, and in a fit of rage, damage your annoying children while you are out and not available to meet his every need.

There are too many people without empathy for their precious little ones. Leaving babies with a man they hardly know? How terrifying for the children. How careless, unless you are blind and deaf and own no TV or newspaper. Even blind and deaf people know the news! This is willful lack of caring, selfishness and destruction on the part of the MOTHER. And now she is suffering the consequences of a very obvious mistake she could have chosen not to make :(

Not to remove a single molecule of blame on the who killed the baby and hurt her sisters of course!

I suppose it's possible the mother wasn't aware of his violent streak and past. But, I'm sorry, I don't know many 20-year-old guys who are mature enough and equipped to care for 2-year-old triplets. In fact, I have a 20-year-old daughter who would probably be pulling her hair out after 15 minutes! But she would never hurt a child. Ever.
