UPDATE: I’ve been working my police sources concerning the disappearance of Keith Palumbo, 36, of Upper Darby. He was reported missing in early February. Police tell me his body was recovered on Friday from Mount Moriah Cemetery in Southwest Philadelphia. He and a second unidentified victim had been dumped in what I’m told was a crypt. Both died from gunshot wounds. Police continue to work the case, and are actively pursuing leads." BBM

ARREST in case in May 2020. "Donna Morelli, 48, of the 6400 block of Trinity Street, was charged with conspiracy, hindering apprehension, abuse of corpse, and related offenses in connection with the disposal of Keith Palumbo’s body. She was not accused in his death."

"The remains of a second man, who police believe was David Rossillo of Drexel Hill, were also found in the crypt. No charges were filed against Morelli in that case and the cause of his death remains undetermined."

Delco man charged with murder in case of 2nd man’s body found in Mount Moriah Cemetery crypt

A 48-year-old Delaware County man has been charged with the murder of a Drexel Hill man whose body was found — with a rope tied around his neck — in a Mount Moriah Cemetery crypt this year.

Michael Dimauro of Secane is also charged with conspiracy, gun offenses, and abuse of corpse in the death of David Rossillo, 33, who disappeared in December 2017.

Rossillo’s body was one of two found in a crypt in the closed Southwest Philadelphia cemetery when police went there April 3 to search for Keith Palumbo, 36, a Drexel Hill musician who had been reported missing in February.

An autopsy conducted by the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office showed that Rossillo died from “homicidal violence in conjunction with multiple gunshot wounds,” according to the affidavit of probable cause in Dimauro’s arrest last week.

Southwest Philly is ROUGH. Used to be many Italians who then all fled up to Delco. So sorry these young people met their demise so brutally.

That cemetery is where Betsy Ross was originally buried. She was dug up and moved to the Betsy Ross house for the bicentennial of '76.
Cobbs Creek was a beautiful park.

Bigger get out that Betsy Ross was buried in Mount Moriah. Was at the Bicentenial. Taken by our parents pre Bicentenial and took DD to The Betsy Ross house often circa 1990's. Did I know? Nope. DD probably knew by age four. Thank you for this information.

Thank you I will update you all when it’s over. It’s been a LONG 3 years. We haven’t been able to grieve yet and we are ready to because this has taken a huge toll on our family. Keith’s oldest brother just died from a broken heart.
