Hi!
I am a new member reading up on the case. Why in the world would a young woman (and a very conservative one at that) be carrying her bra when she was walking on a frequently traveled road? My opinion is that Linda is not the one who removed her own bra. I apologize if I've missed something along the way, but I think this is highly unlikely. What about a the most common reason a female is abducted? It isn't because someone wants a traveling partner.
I am posting the following statistical article because Linda looks like a young teen, not an adult. It's possible the perpetrator thought so too. I found these statistics regarding abductions of young women. I apologize if this doesn't come out right. Read the instructions in the new member area. Still learning!
Child Abduction Statistics for Parents
Stranger kidnapping victimizes more females than males, occurs primarily at outdoor locations, victimizes both
teenagers and school-age children, is associated with sexual assaults in the case of girl victims and robberies in the case of boy victims (although not exclusively so), and is the type of kidnapping most likely to involve the use of a firearm.
Here's another one:
Teen Abductions Are Most Common | MoCHIP
Nearly 2,000 children are reported missing or abducted in the United States each day. Contrary to what most people believe, young children are not the most common victims of abduction. Reports indicate that
teenagers are the most frequent victims of both non-family abductions and stereotypical kidnappings-
81% were children 12 or older.
