I'm going to just through the this out there and it's all IMO. The "white object" in this view really looks way to close to JS's seat to be on a passenger seat or passenger side. To me it looks like it could be something white sitting on the car's dash. IMO, it could be a cup from a fast food place. I do realize that the picture is most likely zoomed in to see it better, so in reality it might not be as close as it appears.
The white object seen through the drivers side window could be anything. We would have to know the angle of the camera to know where exactly the white thing was.

Also train tracks across the street and a bus depot.
Hmmm. I’ve lived in this town for 25 years. I’ve never heard of Camp Strasburg—that location is a vacant lot beside the Strasburg Railroad steam train attraction. No bus depot either. Lots of railroad related attractions along Gap Road east of Strasburg—Choo Choo Barn, which is an elaborate toy train layout, the PA Railroad Museum, Red Caboose, which is a motel where you can sleep in a refurbished caboose as your room, and the Toy Train Museum is off a side road near all that.

On Google maps everything I listed is shown there. I originally googled the camp address and was surprised to discover all the other things.

Lancaster man charged with kidnapping in disappearance of Amish teen
Does that look like the silo behind the car? There was a silo where he picked her up. I guess I assumed this was a picture of his car from the camera the man had installed there.
It does look like one of the silos Rosiebones and it's the same color as one of the silos at the location of abduction. Was the picture cropped ? One pic says Justo Smoker's Kia Rio and Lancaster District Attorney's Office.

When I looked at Google Maps from the overhead, the car was traveling in the direction from Stumpfield Rd. and would have just passed the spot where he had picked her up. Anyway, even if this was before he picked her up, where is the driver?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. :)

IMO, it may also be possible that whatever the white "object" may have been, did not even belong to Linda. Some perpetrators are known to carry a "kill" kit (white: zip ties/bindings, duct tape, rope, scarf w/blood?). Absolutely anything is possible until LE states otherwise. My hope, no matter what is known or unknown (planned or unplanned), is that Linda will be found and brought home to her family. And soon.
I hear what your saying JDough. A kill kit, never hear it called that ugh.

If it was unplanned - imo, having help makes sense. Spur of the moment and alone could imply disorganization and missing something i.e. evidence hiding etc. - if he had help, the other person could possibly think of things that JS overlooked. But then again, how organized were his robberies etc. previously - were they planned or last minute - am I correct in thinking they lasted 6 days?

Imo, he already had plans of how he would kidnap Linda. Another case like so many others when the predator knew no one would be around that would immediately recognize a kidnapping was in progress. Or knew the victim would be alone.

He may have already selected where he would put her body. Some offenders already dug holes for a shallow grave. or visit areas prior in what they call their comfort zones.

I don't think he had help nor did he need help nor wanted it. Imo

In the many kidnapping, and murder cases I've followed like Linda's the vast overwhelming majority were done solely by one predator.

This included the kidnapping, rape (which I still believe was his sole motive), the murder itself, discarding the bodies, and any coverup that followed afterwards was all done by the same offender. In some of those cases the bodies of the victims weren't ever located.

I've only been reading lately hoping to see they have located Linda's body.

It's a heart breaking thought to even have to consider, but there is a very likely possibilty she may never be found like other victims haven't been... even though extensive searches were done trying to locate the bodies.

Imoo

This is probably when he left the frame to go intercept her and just before he brought her back to the car. IMO.
