Wow - that blog is outrageous! I feel for the people whose names were mentioned in it, but I suspect his descriptions of most of them were probably honest and accurate. And it really gives some insight into what drives someone to do what he has done, which is so often not the case with this type of senseless crime. His despair is so clear. He just didn't seem to have the coping skills to deal with people - at all. Makes me wonder how many other people like him are out there amongst us every day. :eek:

My heart and prayers go out to his victims and their families.....and to him as well. Sad.

In Chicago there's a free weekly paper called the Reader that carries a sex column by a guy named Savage. In last week's Reader, Savage posted 3 letters from men in their 20s thru their 60s who either never had sex or never had a girlfriend. It's funny because I don't normally get the Reader. I am sure LE is looking at everything on his computer hard drive by now. This guy is crazy!

Somewhere, either here or at Insession, I had read a diary of a guy who planned to kill himself. He wrote of his plans pretty much every day. For the life of me I cannot remember if he actually did it or not, but he had people who read it pretty worried. This guy and his style of writing remind me of the guy writing that dairy.

The pic shown on TV of this guy wearing a blue shirt does not even resemble the one shown full face in an article. He looks plain evil in the full face pic, IMO.

How can someone work with a person this sick and not have any inkling??? I just have to wonder what his family thought of his demeanor when he was around them. I wonder if his family thought he was normal or mentally healthy. Wonder what they thought about what he wrote about them? This guy has alienated everyone.

This is yet another senseless tragedy. This is a coward for killing himself after murdering and/or wounding others. And I have news for him ........... he will not be seeing God or Jesus as he stated he would in his blog. He is headed in the opposite direction.

GB the victims' families and friends. GB the wounded who thought they were just going to the gym like any other time. Many prayers for a speedy recovery for them. The body will heal, but they will never forget last night.

I am sad as well as infuriated that this sort of thing continues to happen in our society.
 
Even with the insight from his blog, I have to wonder why he couldn't have just killed himself. He had obviously decided that he would put an end to his own suffering by ending is life. Why do these freaks always have to take innocent people down with them?

I find it very sad that someone who went to work and the gym everyday had a family and seemed to be trying to reach out had NO ONE in his life that saw a red flag.

Interesting quirk that he hides statements in inline comments. Do a right click and view=>source to see them.

At the gym I saw a woman I like. I see her at the park and ride sometimes, so she isn't a stranger. Occationaly she makes good eye contact and smiles, etc. She is maybe 40ish, and attractive to me. I made brief conversation to her and a younger woman she was with today. To get a friend like her (and for night time action) I would cancel this plan, or put on hold, at least for a while.
 
Wow. There really aren't many words in the English language for this type of crime, or this type of nut job. Just wow. Idiot and Evil are two good words for this case. I bet he is surprised about the circumstances he finds himself in tonight.

I agree, Joyce, I was actually in the gym on the treadmill of all places when I saw this story on CNN. It pretty much stated he didn't like women and basically blamed women for all his problems.

sorry. I think the server just gets busy because I can get in sometimes but not other times. The same with the blog...sometimes it would open and sometime it wouldn't. The crazygeorge site I linked to worked good and had a lot of personal photos of him and his family on it. He seemed to be a normal guy but had a lot of issues. One, he was his own worst enemy.

In that first video, note when he says:

"There's some reading material here we'll be familiar with" and the title of the book on the table says "Date Young Women".

Yeah...we're all familiar with that. If he didn't seek relationships with 20-something, big breasted blondes only, he might have got a date once in awhile.
 
He tried to get help.
He's seen attending a seminar by R. Don Steele, author of "Body Language Secrets" and "Date Young Women". He's in the white shirt. In the "Hide from Emotions" video he references this seminar when he speaks of RDS. Maybe those videos were assignments from the workshop.

It seems to me the point of doing this was to not die "alone".
To have people notice him and know who he was.
He bailed out on his plan to do this earlier in the year, so he was scared to do it. I would guess that he turned the lights off and just opened fire in the dark to depersonalize the experience. He may not have wanted to see the victims and their reactions. But without them he would just be a one line note in the paper as a suicide. Clearly he was not comfortable with human interaction and emotions. MOO

He tried to get help in picking up women instead of getting help with his own deep, internal problems. From the brief bits I've read about R. Don Steele, it seems his seminars would have only reinforced this wacko's beliefs that women are little more than physical pleasure objects.
