Just that he was a student (possibly a sophomore), and he is in custody.

7 people in life threatening condition. Sent to 4 different hospitals. 1 actor. ages 15-60 years old.
local news is KDKS.com, WPXI.com, WTAE.com and now it is on CNN.com

If my kid were at that school, you better believe I'd be headed there. They can't possibly think parents won't come....

I would be there so freaking fast! I understand the school wanting to keep some control over the situation, but... Can't imagine getting a text from my child about this!

Oddly reminds me of plot on the following.

My first thought. I have stopped watching that show. Usually violence doesn't bother me on TV,but that show does,as well as my 25 year old son. I think its too much.

Murrysville police tweeted that students will be taken to Heritage Elementary School to be picked up by parents or otherwise safely dismissed.

16 yr. old sophmore. No name released. 7:15 AM this morning. Officers entered building. Met by male security guard with stomach wound. Suspect was already in hand cuffs. Multiple victims. 19 students, 1 adult wounded. Subject is under arrest.

School principal and school resource officer had contact with perp and contributed to him being put into custody. Fire alarm was pulled and when officers arrived students were running out of the school.

Perp has cuts on his hands and has been taken from police station to un-named hospital for medical treatment.

The adult stabbed was the onsite school Security Guard. School Resource Officer is also a Murrysville Police Officer. Four students are in critical condition.

Can't imagine having to "treat" that one.
I hope they're extremely careful and he remains surrounded by LE!
