Bill Copeland of Monticello, Ark. thinks he knows the answer to a riddle: the identity of the woman known as Jane Doe 2010, whose remains reside in the Perry County morgue in New Bloomfield.

Copeland is the cousin and childhood friend of a woman named Teresa Ware who disappeared from her home in Hines County, Mississippi, in 2010.

The general description of the body, discovered on Sept. 9, about 25 yards from a pull-off along Routes 22/322 in Howe Twp., matches the body type and age of his cousin, Copeland said.

When I clicked on a link to Teresa Ware's NAMUS page, it says missing person has been found. Guessing that she has been confirmed to be this UP?

Pennsylvania State Police said Monday the University of North Texas' Center for Human Identification used DNA to determine the woman was 38-year-old Teresa Mae Ware of Hinds County, Miss.

Does anyone have a link or a photo of Bobby Ware so we can see if the reconstruction resembles her? I also noted that Bobby Ware wasn't one of the names we had found as a possible match for this UID. Was she not reported missing or didn't she have a profile in any of the usual places?

For the record:

Her height (60-62 inches) was within the UID's height range (4'11" to 5'4")
Her age (38) was within range (25-45)
Her Date LKA (10-Apr-2010) was five months before the remains were found (09-Sep-2010)
Her location LKA (Clinton MS) is 1,048 miles from Newport PA.

The reconstruction was very good. Jawline, nose, even the arch of the eyebrows.

So glad she's been ID'd. Finding out Teresa was last seen getting into a rig with a trucker from PA - found just yards from where truckers routinely park...the pieces just fall into place. Now they just need to find the S.O.B. that did this.
