I just saw this story on Facebook and went through the missing in PA to compare the sketch with the photos. I came across one that fits the description, on all aspects. I came on WS to post it to see what you guys thought and there he was, they same guy I saw in the Missing photos. Someone had looked at him once back in November.

Robert Seward

131_Seward,_Robert_3.jpg

35 yr old, 5'6" 120 lbs missing teeth

Robert was last heard from several weeks before his birthday in 2003. He called a family member from Pennsylvania and said that someone was after him and was going to kill him. The family member advised Robert to notify the police but there is nothing to indicate that Robert ever did. Subsequent attempts to contact Robert have been unsuccessful. A missing persons report was filed with the San Jacinto County (TX) Sheriff's Department by one of Robert's brothers, who is a resident of San Jacinto. No report has been filed with Pennsylvania law enforcement.

Sure looks like the sketch -- big bony jaw, same hairline, same long narrow face.

"Uncle Dude" (Robert Smithie Seward) fits the description. He is descirbed as having "many missing teeth". I suppose they would have mentioned if he had implants.

I went ahead and left a voicemail message with Detective Conway at the West Manchester Twp Police Dept. to call his attention to Robert Seward (if he is not already on their radar).

:please: What a wonderful Easter miracle it would be if Robert were returned to his family after more than 10 years. With no dental records and no DNA on file, they will need to contact his brothers in Texas, where the missing person report was filed.

Crossing State Lines

Maybe we can let Deputy Hall of San Jancinto TX know
to contact Det. Jeff Snell At the West Manchester Twp Police
or even Pam Gay the York County Coroner 717-840-7617

Yes, it certainly looks like a good lead. A call was made to the West Manchester Twp Police to put Robert on their radar, if he isn't already.

This case just keeps calling me.... so this morning I called the Coroner and spoke with her a while. She called the local PD to left them know. I also left a message for Capt Hall in San Jacinto. I got a really good feeling about it from the Coroner, Pam Gay. She was very excited about the lead and followed up right away. Got my fingers crossed.

Hey all,

I was looking through possible missing persons for this case ---> ( PA PA - New Castle Twp, Skeletal Remains Found By Hikers, Mar'14 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community ) and quickly found Robert Seward of Pottsville as a candidate. I searched his name + WS and found this thread. While there is a resemblance, these skeletal remains were found likely less than 20 minutes away from Pottsville (the article linked in the thread is kinda vague). Based on his Pennsylvania Missing profile ( http://www.pennsylvaniamissing.com/sewardrobert.html ), he was either paranoid or in imminent danger and I'm not sure he would have made it all the way to West Manchester Township under those conditions. The lack of teeth might explain how a month has passed without any answers.

Hopefully we'll all get answers soon!

Wow, the location of those remains is so close to where Seward was living.... But, they believe it's Kevin Lucas.

130_Lucas,_Kevin.JPG

Kevin Lucas - 33, of Gordon, Schuylkill County, was last seen on March 7, 2011 as he was leaving his home. His vehicle, a blue/tan 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe was located in New Castle Twp, Schuylkill County on March 18, 2011. On November 2, 2011, a man walking his dog in the State Game Lands No. 326 found a human tibia (shinbone). The bone was identified, via DNA analysis, to be that of Mr Lucas. Additional remains have not been located. Rest in peace, Kevin.

County Coroner David Moylan determined through DNA testing that the tibia belonged to Lucas...

Officials say he was between 30 and 50 years old, possibly Hispanic or of European decent, and anywhere from 5″3 to 5″10. It is estimated that he had gone missing a minimum of 3 years prior to discovery of his remains. Officials say the man had a significant overbite and It appears as though he hadn’t had dental care in years prior to his death. Officials say he also had significant facial trauma that healed but was slightly deformed on the right side of his nose as a result of the healing process. Overall, he was a robust muscular individual with significant muscle markings, and osteoarthritis throughout his remains indicates strenuous physical activity and possibly an occupation that involved physical labor. The victim had been wearing “Knocker” brand boxer shorts.

The University of North Texas is still working on getting a DNA profile of the victim.
