That's what am hearing. It is totally up to her and how she acts as to how long she will be in there for. If she continues to cry, scream and yell she will not get days cut for good behavior.
yep. It is standard procedure in our jails. If she behaves she will be in for 23 days total with today being the 6th day.
Also, they let inmates out just after midnight on the the day of release. She gets credit for the whole day even if she is only there for an hour of it. This is also the norm.

Angry e-mails flood L.A. officials over Hilton's kid gloves treatment

JUNE 8--Los Angeles government officials are being bombarded with e-mail from Americans enraged by the early jail release of Paris Hilton. A sampling of correspondence received in the past day by members of the city's ruling Board of Supervisors can be found below.

All ya gotta do is read....it's all over TMZ and other similar boards. I get my info the same place everyone else can if they want to read. I get PAID to read and research stuff and I read/process pretty fast but I don't have any info that isn't available to others who have an interest in reading ALL the posts and forums etc.

And ALL my info in ANY thread comes from sources online which I frequently link to and attribute openly. I don't ask people to believe things on my say-so - they are more than welcome to do their own research and find the info to dispute or verify themselves. I SAID the GOSSIPS were saying ______ and that is exactly what I meant. No verification except from some chick who's brother (or someone she is close to) works at the jail in LA - but it's everywhere now - not just one place?

Paris Hilton deserves to do her "time" but my stars people need to get a grip - she isn't Mary Winkler and will likely do as much time ...

Mary Winkler must serve at least 210 days of her sentence but gets credit for the 143 days she has already spent in jail, Judge Weber McCraw said.
That leaves 67 days, and McCraw said up to 60 days of the sentence could be served in a facility where she could receive mental health treatment. That means Winkler might spend only another week in jail.
The system should be EQUAL for everyone - not based on the "media attention" the judge can get.

My Opinion - Really
But think about it. If she was that ill, she would have been transported to a hospital immediately. Even if it was just for show.

I cannot draw the parallel between the 23 days PH will serve and the 150 days that will be served in jail by Winkler plus the 2 months in a mental facility .
Not being argumentative..just don't know what you are saying.

I'll start with I'm no fan, but she has had a tough few days. The sheriff said she could go home, so she did. Paris thought it was pretty much behind her. Yes it was wrong to send her home in the first place, but one can only imagine being dragged back in. Have any of you ever seen anything like this before? She's the new OJ, and it does seem she is in a very fragile state. The sheriff was the one who screwed up here, not the judge, and Paris has an unusual price to pay.

Would she have been on a very heavy dosage to cause that much twitching, etc.? I didn't see her, but the way the media was speaking about it makes you wonder.

Not necessarily...the classic movement disorder related to antipsychotics is tardive dyskinesia, which is jerky movements usually of the neck and tongue, and comes after long term use of the meds. It can also come from medication withdrawal, and similar movements can be seen as an acute side effect...so this was a long answer to your question, but basically the symptoms can be seen with any dose in some people.

I don't know if she's on any antipsychotics, but that could explain the jerking. It would also indicate to me that her psychiatric problems are above and beyond your average depression and anxiety

Apparently she has mental/emotional problems and stopped her meds and it has nothing to do with recreational drugs.

Yeah, emotional problesm cause she's a spoiled brat and has never had to take responsiblity for what she does. She's horrified.

I hope this link works but yes, she was sent to the Twin Towers, which has a med facility. If she has a Med problem, dont you think her Attorney wouldve made that clear at her court hearing? i kind of see the Hiltons blaming all of this on Attorney right now.
Hi Feddup. It is up to the inmate to bring an original prescription and a doctors note when they turn themselves in if they have a health problem or if they are on regular meds. They document their medical problem and then they are assigned to a medical facility that can handle their needs right off. Typically Twin Towers in LA.
It was her responsibility to make sure that her meds were not interrupted and that they knew she had medical issues.

ETA: I am willing to bet the lawyers didn't know anything about it,l because it would have been a great case to be made from the beginning to keep her out in the first place.

I read TMZ and other sites many times a day. No where on TMZ or anywhere else have I seen anything about Paris having a raging case of herpes. :waitasec:

No need to duck. But, she's not the "new OJ". lol OJ killed two people and destroyed many lives. Paris will survive (I hope).

and all of tht mixed with alcohol?????????????????

I dun't buy any of it. I think she was told they would get her out on medical release and not to sweat it. The fit today was because they lied to her. :) LOL!

She doesn't think she shoudl have to face the music and neither does her mother.

According to sources, she has been raised by her mother that they are above the law and better than everyone else.

I agree. I really dislike Paris (at least, her public persona!), but I am starting to think that she does indeed have a serious mental problem, and I don't wish that on anyone. It would certainly explain a lot.

The price may be unusual, but it'd be much higher had she killed someone while driving drunk. Hopefully she'll learn an important lesson out of all this.

I wonder if she didn't bring her meds because she was trying to keep her mental problems out of the tabloids? Definitely NOT a good idea to go cold-turkey off of psychiatric medications...stopping some antidepressants abruptly can cause severe problems.

Thanks for the info, MSM.:)

You're welcome...it's all speculation on my part but I'm starting to think she has major problems. Not that that's any excuse for her behavior, but I always wondered what was wrong with her, and this is explaining a lot!

Nope, not a good idea. Whatever her med was, she wasn't repsonsible about reporting it and this is her own doing. She could have gotten her med in jail no problem.
Of course i feel bad for someone with mental problems, but that's a good reason to stay out of jail.
Baca made it clear that it was psycholgical issue.

--yes but your point is faulty because Mary Winkler should have been executed or at least should have gotten life in prison,so you can't compare the two in any way---Paris has only herself to blame, hardly anybody feels any sympathy for a *advertiser censored* who made her own *advertiser censored* film, and who dropped out of high schoool and has barely worked a day in her life
