On June 14, 1997, Pattyann Hutson Kenley was arrested by the Allen Police Department for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The 11-year-old victim alleged that his stepmother, Pattyann, sexually assaulted him in the presence of a younger sister and his father, Phillip J. Kenley, between April and June 1997.
Pattyann had posted bail and appeared in court on November 17, 1997, with her attorney. She failed to appear for her scheduled court date on June 15, 1998, and a warrant for Bond Forfeiture was filed and executed.
On August 25, 1999, federal arrest warrants were issued in Sherman, Texas, charging Pattyann Kenley and Phillip J. Kenley with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Police believe Pattyann and Phillip fled together and are unsure if they are still traveling together or have parted ways. Pattyann and Phillip have been featured on two episodes of America’s Most Wanted. It is believed they have ties to Springdale, Arkansas. They remain on the run.
