So what are they saying? That one little piece of the timeline... So whose timeline is all sewn up in this case? And why can't they crack that timeline?

And once this person-place-thing is inserted into the story
It will all make sense.

(IMO, this means that LE has 95% proof of whether Haleigh is alive/abducted. The one piece that is missing is who is to blame for disposing of her body. LE claims to have DNA and forensic evidence, yet none that matches any of the players. It made me think of the Caylee case. They found that one hair in the trunk at first and many tried to say it was Casey's. But the difference was that the hair found came from a decomposing body. Again, LE has not linked who did what Haleigh and feel that Misty knows who that person is and that is why she is the "Key" to the investigation.)

All of these recent statements by LE concern me. We first hear the word homicide through Nay Nay's letter shortly after the L-pond is drained. LE says they found nothing at L-pond. Now we hear LE use terms such as foul play, and the reality may be the child is already dead and they have 95% of the puzzle complete except for a small segment of time on the night Haleigh went missing.

Don't know about all you fine folks but this certainly makes me study about things pretty hard.

Could be when and where the incident occurred since I suspect no one was there or around except Misty and Ron...and unfortunately HaleighJMO

I'd like to know the exact time-frame of the "time-line piece that is missing". That would tell us if Ron's still in their equation for that period fo time...

I'd like to know if they're using GGMS's laundry delivery time in that time frame or not. I'd like to also know if they're using Tommy's 10pm visit in the timeline. And I'd like to know if they're using the Mondex pond story. If so, I'd also like to know evidence exists that they would put credence in any of these 3 contributions to their time-line. (Phone calls/pings? What?)

BTW, in this statement PCSO either intentionally or just by unclear sentence structure kinda left it open as to it being Ronald Cummings who committed the foul play, IMO.

Quote from press release: "Evidence and information obtained during this investigation indicate a strong likelihood that Haleigh&#8217;s disappearance is the result of foul play by someone known to Misty Croslin and/or Ronald Cummings."

Sentence structure conundrum:

That and/or conjuction either reflects back to the prepositional phrase "foul play by...", such that we now read "foul play by ... Ronald Cummings"

This conjunction expands the object of the preposition "someone known to Misty Croslin and/or Ronald Cummings".

Which way does PCSO mean this sentence to read?

Foul play: by someone known to Misty Croslin and/or
Foul play by: Ronald Cummings?

- or -

Foul play by: someone known to either Misty Croslin and/or Ronald Cummings?


I know I'm being picky, but even in carefully worded press release, there is still a crack in that Ronald Cummings as a prime suspect doorway. :waitasec::waitasec:

I know this idea has pretty much been phased out off the equation, but I still have concerns and questions with the missing sex offender, Chad Reynolds, and the chair (home made) in the woods. As far as I know he has never been found. He disappeared Feb 1, and Haleigh the ninth. I still wonder if Misty met or partied with him (even if he used a different name?); or if he was just aware of them. Perhaps she was out partying and came home to find Haleigh gone, (she could NEVER admit she let the children alone) or even passed out in the home. It just still seems like me it is too much of a coincidence to have him go missing, and a week later a child.. It just still niggles in the back of my mind, and bothers me. JMO

D@#m timeline. When did rc get off work. I say his shift was over at midnight and I am sticking to it..till proved differently. The question is did he work there all night from 3:30 to midnight? we know he was not there at 3:30. he did not tell us he went to work late. his attorney tried to say he started at 5:00pm and that was his normal time.

WHY did TN PRAISE Misty like a saint?
Why did TN offer money to a druggie to watch her grand daughter?
Why did TN & GGS push Ron to marry Misty???
Why did GGS let Misty, JR. & Ron live with her?
Why did TN have an 8x10 glossy ready for media?
Why did TN wear her LEO jacket?
Why does TN do all the talking, checking mail for Ron?
If Misty did something why didn't Ron kill her? remain buddies???
Did something happen involving TN & GGS?
TN, GGS covering up for Ron & Misty???
Did they all have something to do with Haleigh dying?
Are they all involved with not getting her medical help???

I would bet LE is only using evidence like phone pings, school records, video cameras, voice analysis, polygraphs and DNA evidence. Perhaps they are considering eye witness reports like the bus driver and neighbors. You know I really doubt if they have listened to this family any more than they have the people that call them about their dreams and visions. Other than try to sort through all the lies and bs, maybe they constantly are asking the question, why? Like what is motivating these people to say this now?

Well Emma, Ronald is known to Misty and Misty is known to Ronald. I'd say that statement covers it either way.

I suspect the truth of what really happened is that awful, but what is even more awful IMHO is they have further compounded the grief Haleigh's mother and family are experiencing due to not knowing what happened to Haleigh...
Ron and his family know what happened and they have kept this from Haleigh's mother for over a year now...Can you imagine the HELL they are going through not knowing the whole truth eventhough the truth in and of itself is already horrific ?
