I have to take puppy to the vet today for his shots, hopefully the jury reaches a verdict. I caught one of Jodi's interviews where she said "as long as you don't abuse me you're safe". If there is a God in heaven, this monster should never get out of prison.

I don't think she has the same definition of abuse as most of us. It's abuse if someone can't give her what she wants.

Thinking its just one of her many sick mind games, meant to shock and rile, and to vent some of the steam of her raging hatred.

#TravisAlexander family arrives. Goes to victim impact room. Victim's advocate says "just hanging out" as I gave her that "hmmm look"

Maybe Travis broke her toes AND her finger during the abuse--she may have forgotten about the toes because of that brain scrambling, fog deal she's got going on... ;)

I actually thought that she forgot which body part she alleged that Travis broke and was intentionally contorting her toes instead of her finger. Honestly, that was my first thought.

She had to explain why she had her credit card for gas and her DL for when she was stopped by LE in Utah.

AZWatcher- thank you for asking!

My MOHS procedure went well- you all should have seen me. I am in the chair with the doctor doing the surgery with an assistant who had to walk around the rolling stool placed next to me, with my laptop on it and plugged into the wall, opened to the great seal of arizona, with an earbud in one ear (the side of my face where she wasn't doing surgery) with the other earbud tucked into my bra!

I am sure the doc thought I was listening to soothing music. All the while I was waiting for the defendant to give her sickening allocution! lol.

I was finished before she came on. Only one round of cutting and burning before she got clear borders, and stitched me up, and today I know why- she cut almost a half an inch around the original spot on the crease of my nose- out into my face!

I am bummed but I am glad it is gone... that is most important.

If my husband had seen me he would have really thought I had gone off the deep end- he sort of already thinks I have. In retrospect, I suppose he is right!

Verdict today- and let us be done with her. Be gone JAA- shoo fly- shoo.

okay. so if that is legit. they DID come back and they DID say: we cannot reach a unanimous verdict which prompted the judge to give them further instructions on how to reach a unanimous verdict and sent them back to deliberate.

so not sure why people are against what im saying when I all I did was quote verbatim the very last bit of live feed that aired yesterday. im not pulling stuff out my *advertiser censored* lol clearly they are three separate issues that happened yesterday with the jury. two were aired live, one was not apparently.

I agree with you. The IF was indeed a question. (we missed this part as no cameras were there)
JSS answered the question as to how to proceed IF they were deadlocked.
They followed protocol for informing her that they were deadlocked.

Yannow...All my life, I have been so on the fence about the DP in general. I confess I would be the person who would be afraid for my own soul if I was complicit in sending someone else to their death.

BUT

Having read the above bolded and enlarged statement from the murderer, I say:

Juice her
Gas her
Hang her
Drive a stake through her heart
Drop a house on her

Just to make sure she "Is morally, ethic'lly, spiritually, physically, Positively, absolutely, Undeniably and reliably Dead...[to make sure she's] not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead."

My brother (he's 61) is still an avid cyclist and rode his bike here yesterday (probably 24-mile roundtrip). I was watching HLN (and reading here), so he sat down to watch with me and chat about the case. This was sometime after the confusion about the possible hung jury, so I explained to him how a new jury would have to be seated if this jury could not reach a verdict. Brother doesn't have cable but cannot imagine how anyone can't know about the case and said, "You can't miss her. She's everywhere!" We agreed that there is no way that an impartial jury could be seated. Anyhoo, my brother wants Jodi to FRY! I told him that the AZ DP was lethal injection, but he insisted that Jodi should FRY!

I wonder if the alleged question came BEFORE they actually sent the note they were deadlocked.

That's what I was thinking yesterday. That the question came out, the judge answered it and told them what to do...and then they did that, and the judge said what she said.

That's my take on the situation. I could just as easily be wrong.

However, I find it hard to believe any judge would misconstrue a question of "what do we do IF..." to "you ARE..."
If she did in fact make this mistake, we could be very sorely disappointed if something in the appeals process comes up with her rulings. I mean, that is an elementary mistake to make, if indeed that is what happened.

So I find it hard to go with the whole tweet vs. what we actually heard from her mouth. My above scenario is what fits in my brain. LOL!!

Maybe same judge who inadvertently "forgot" to send a VERY important part of the jury instructions with the jurors as they left for deliberations, but realized her mistake a day later??!!!

The pressure of this case seems to be getting to everyone involved!

I do wonder what Travis' family wants. Do they prefer getting a new jury and doing this all over again? Such a difficult situation...

Good question. We do know they want death now. I think they will get it today!!

:floorlaugh: OMG! LOVE THIS! Glad it went well.

Pretty sure all it would take would be throwing a big bucket of water on her... ;)

Make it holy water just to be sure.

If she gets the DP and she ever does get the needle she is going to have to have her head cut off and buried it at the crossroads.

Based on some other DP deliberations, it wouldn't be unusual if jury deliberations go much longer in this phase than they did in the guilt phase.

In thirty years of trial watching, this was a thirty minute verdict if I ever saw one.

Especially considering where the jury was collectively prior.

ETA: This was not a complicated case.
