Clint said he saw people carrying in cases of beer. Did he also happen to notice who all the guests were?

I get that feeling too. I don't know if it's because he thinks or has been told that some things just are not important to LE or if it's something more...

One main person who was in and out of the home a few times in a couple of years was SA himself. This is the first hint I've heard of that those two even had any friends or people coming over (other than relatives on New Years Eve). Naomi made it sound as if all they did was sit at home and Haylie never got to go anyplace except with her and Clint.

This thought crossed my mind. When LE arrested him, Naomi made some comments like how could they do this to him while his daughter is missing.

Clint also said some people will not go to LE, but they will come to him and talk. Is it possible that he thinks he can investigate on his own and not share certain things he has learned with LE? Patricia Trichel (Naomi's mother) has also made some comments about Hailey's case that I consider questionable. Who knows with these people. I have compassion for Clint, but at the same time hold him responsible for not getting Hailey out of a bad situation. I have to believe he knew something was not right at 1804 Chestnut.

I just keep thinking poor Hailey, look what she was surrounded by ...

In a small town, it is likely that the "druggies" run in the same circles. The people that deal/use cocaine, pot, pills, etc. most definitely all know one another. Clint has made no bones about his pot use. He could be trying to infiltrate that group(s) via the trust he has established within that circle or circles.

If I were in his shoes, I would probably do the same thing just to get to the truth.

Maybe I need to clarify, I don't have a problem with Clint using whatever resources he has to get the truth of what happened to Hailey. But if he learns something, he needs to share that info with LE. Clint does not know what LE knows, so even the smallest bit of information could be the tipping factor and could connect the missing dots.

All just conjecture on my part, he may be communicating with him, just doesn't seem like it.

I'm sure they all know each other, what I'd like Clint to do is inform LE of all the people who hang out at Billie's. He knows who they are, for sure-- Hailey probably sought refuge at his place often--"Dad, so and so is over, so I'm gonna stay here."

Also, it's my impression that Clint backed away from the media after the cporn came out and he attended that rally. I'm sure he's cooperating... :lamb:

Yes, I do believe that BD has something she is holding over CD's head...I wish that they would realize at this point, nothing matters anymore. All of them, the whole kit and kaboodle of them, friends in/out, family members, they just need to spill their guts and let the chips fall where they may. Hailey deserves the truth from these people, no matter what the consequences.

Just because Clint isn't talking to reporters doesn't mean he isn't talking to LE. I don't see how one thing equals another. :waitasec:

Police often tell the family to stop talking to the Press. LE may have told him to clam up and stop talking for his own safety, if nothing else. If the person who did something to Hailey thinks Clint is close to the truth they might want to get rid of him - and lets please remember that he has other kids to think about.

As far as knowing that BD was having a New Year's part - we have pictures of CD's home somewhere. It is across an open field from BD's house. He would have to be blind, deaf, and dumb not to see them carrying in cases of beer. I imagine they all have porch lights? :twocents:

Without reading all the posts, I want to say he's alluding to drug dealing and/or drugs in the home. Remember early on when she had some drug and cut it into pieces to resell, and SA decided to take them himself?

IMHO it was known that drugs were being sold, which is why I believe DD was removed from the home.

I'm sure he knew some or most of the people going in and out of BD's house. This is a small town and he and BD grew up there and lived there all their lives. He "saw" people going in there, but he wasn't one of the people PK was talking about, I don't think.

LE told us BD had lots of people in and out of her house around the time Hailey went missing. Do you think CD was one of them? If not, what is your point? I actually missed the comment being said by PK.... when he said it, how was it said? there WERE people coming in and out of the house (meaning before Hailey went missing) or there ARE people coming in and out of the house (as in currently or since Hailey went missing)?

If it was meaning before Hailey went missing... then obviously those people wouldn't know where Hailey is now, as she wasn't missing yet. If PK meant since Hailey went missing there have been people in and out of there, then I think it could definately be directed at those people.

And honestly, AFTER Hailey went missing, people coming and going for short periods of time at the home of her single mother, possibly bringing by food or offering moral support, doesn't sound SUSPICIOUS, it sounds COMPASSIONATE.

Interesting though that we haven't heard or seen any evidence of people coming or going from the home. The only person who probably could provide that info would be Clint -- since his back porch faced the front of BJD's home. That, or possibly a neighbor. Or DD?

If you have a true dealer home (like the ones I see on Intervention), you see cars coming and going and loads of cell phone activity. In such a small town, why hasn't someone said "OMG, you should see the foot traffic going on in that house". I haven't heard a peep.

IMHO LE is throwing us this little tid-bit, yet providing us with no real basis to back it up.
