Finally got caught up reading,,,,eyes half shut, it is time for me to go to bed,however,,,I wanted to leave yall with an interesting tidbit I found in his flicrblob,phota bucket type thingy,,,,On the bottom of the page of his myspace page it says ""ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME"""",,,,sound familiar to anyone???????????????

I logged off last night prior to this post and yes, I read that last night and almost logged back in just to post it. Strange huh? Both Ron Cummings and Joran van der Sloot using the same phrase............maybe like minds think alike?

From what I can gather so far, it appears Joran was cut off from his parental money source, and not even close to making it on his own, despite his swagger and boasting. His Thailand coffee shop apparently went belly up, as did his trafficing, once exposed.

In a manner of speaking, he seemed to be living hand to poker table recently, and doing very poorly at it, generally losing more than his meager winnings. It also seems possible that he may have run up some gambling debts with the wrong kind of people.

Thus the Lima poker trip may have been the perfect storm. A dysfunctional, narcissist psychopath had run the easy life to the end of its path. His father is dead. His life is deteriorating daily.

The girl he meets has been winning. Did he note the anniversary in his mind on that day? He had other opportunities from the 14th on to pick up a woman. Maybe he decided this was the big bang -- another victim plus $5,000 or so in cash. In his mind, the perfect scenario.

He will live exactly as long as Mr. Flores wants him to live and no longer. Will he make it to trial? We'll see.

I firmly believe Deepak knows and helped 'clean up', at the least. Jug Twitty only confirmed that belief during his local CBS affiliate interview yesterday. Not as sure about Satish.

I do hold out hope that Deepak may talk now. Paul van der Sloot is dead, Joran is in HUGE trouble in Peru.... I really hold out hope that Deepak may confess what he knows one day. If it were up to me, if I were Beth & Dave, I'd be willing to work with the Aruban prosecutors and agree to to offering him immunity for just telling everything he knows. Just so they could finally know the truth.

I don't think Deepak knows anything. I believe the only one that really knows where Natalee is, is now dead.

Just some clarification. The Peruvian city in the border with Chile is called TACNA not Tagnet.

Joran is now in ARICA, Chilean city in the border with Peru.

Dutchman Joran van der Sloot arrived in Arica and will undergo medical examinations before being expelled to Peru.

I've seen it quoted several times in articles that Joran's mother's comment was " I don't know anything. I haven't been in contact with Joran for a long time."​

In this article however, the 2nd sentence includes the addition of "...not since his dad died." To me, that's a glimpse into the relationship he has with what should be the most important woman in his life. ​

The U.S. has an extradition treaty with Peru:http://www.oas.org/juridico/MLA/en/traites/en_traites-ext-usa-per.pdf.

Whether extradition is possible, however, depends in part on the laws of Peru regarding that conduct, and of course I'm not too familiar with the laws of Peru. Also, it would have taken some time to work out the extradition, even assuming that the feds had any clue where Joran was at the time.

I'm a little confused by this Complaint. Where's the extortion/fraud? This looks like something that was filed because the feds wanted to file "something" against him but didn't have the facts they needed to really charge him with what they wanted to charge him with. I don't think they would have filed this on May 10. I think they were waiting for something more. Like the location of Natalie's body.

There's been a lot of confusion as to what exactly the extortion is. Could it be witholding property (the remains) as promised? Also, they've insinuated in the media that the fraud stems from JVDS receiving $15,000 but not providing the information as promised.

I'm curious if he could have been arrested on the extortion/wire fraud charges while going through customs/immigration to SA? Or would he have to be on US soil?

It could be fraud if he didn't hold up his end of the bargain. But extortion? I don't think so.

I agree, but after watching the video of Peruvian prisons, I'm thinking Mr. Flores might want him to live a long time in those surroundings. It would be well deserved punishment.
