Ya know - watching this interview that is now years old - this guy (JVDS) is all about the money. Money, money, money, who will sue him, who paid him this much, that much, money money money.

Yes, a lie that Greta bought hook, line and sinker! After she started being, in essense, his defense lawyer and head cheerleader, I quit watching her. Lost every bit of credibility with me. :sick:

She did the same thing in the Scott Pederson case too. I quit watching her then. Always sucking up to Geragos - even spotted having dinner with him while the trial was going on. Many of us figured she was just doing it for an exclusive after the trial. Of course there was no big interview at the end. Geragos didn't even show up for the verdict and then he went into hiding for about 6 months after the trial and gave his resurfacing interview to Larry King. lol

You'd think she would have learned!

He learned young that he must maintain eye contact to attempt to hide his pathological lying. But it's unnatural. A conscious behavior to attempt to appear normal. He does not release eye contact - at all! Frightening.

It crossed my mind that he might have needed more gambling money. I don't know if he was really playing on a poker tour circuit but if he was it might make sense.

The sad or bad part is that he always has a willing buyer any time he wants to say something [which usually turns out to be nothing] about Natalee's case.

There was an audio and FOX paid to license it. Of course, it was bogus so????

From DAY 1, Joran and his band of thugs, ie K2, have tried to make money off this case.

It was rumored in the dark recesses of the internet that Beth and the Holloways had raised a million dollar$. pfffttttt..........so the thugs thought they could make money too.

K2 are still trying to ca$h in with their lawsuit of Dr. Phil. I still don't unjderstand how they think they can get away with it. They fooled the stoooopid media but they won't be able to fool a judge or jury. It's {rumored} the K2 have someone paying for their legal fees, don't know if it's true. However, I understand there's been TWO times K2 had NOT shown up for a scheduled hearing. I think they're just chicken, because they're not good liars, kinda' like Joran.

LOL, anyway, yeah, FOX paid for this interview.

I don't know the answer to that question, but I am concerned about Fox and ABC or other networks paying for interviews while he is in prison. He will be a king pin then if he has access to a lot of money.

I haven't been able to keep up with this entire thread, but I was wondering if there was any indication about how much Stephanie knew about Joran's past.

I thought they were referring to wherever he stayed after he left the hotel in Peru. According to reports, he then headed to the resort town of Vina del Mar (another casino resort). My understanding was that he stayed there for one night and then hit the road again. PDI supposedly took him back to the place at Vina del Mar and that's where he stated he couldn't remember which room.

Regardless, none of it makes sense. If he stayed at a room for one night at Vina del Mar, I'm sure that would be documented by that resort and they would know what room he stayed in.

The article didn't state he couldn't remember which room he was in at Vina Del Mar--it stated he couldn't remember where he stayed in Vina Del Mar.

As per Geraldo's show...

You know it had always sickened me beyond belief Joran and the Kalpoes talking about women in the crudest terms. They had no respect whatsoever for women.

So, when watching the video of Joran and Stephany entering the hotel room, did you notice he never even held the door for her after he stepped in? Was I seeing things? The door started to close after him and she had to open it a bit more for herself. Geez, just so dispicable.
