Does the math even add up right? Maria Jugo (in Bayside, related to Boris and Natasha) is 74 according to public records searches.

Dolores lives in the Tampa, FL area, which makes me highly skeptical as to why in the article it says she lives somewhere in NY.

I did find it strange there's no mention of Natasha on Dolores's Facebook or any of the linked (to Dolores) Jugo Facebook pages.

Yes I found it strange there was no mention of Natasha on Dolores or anyone of her friends FB including her husbands.....still unable to find any other information about Natasha, which is really strange.

Perhaps Natasha was also being trafficked, as I believe the other Gilgo Beach victims were...some voluntarily, some not.

Hi Pinkhammer! I'm curious, which of the GB4 do you think was being involuntarily trafficked? TIA

Was there an official autopsy to prove the cause of death for Natasha Jugo? I tried to find an article about it but was unable too.

I believe Law enforcement is being very hush about this to bait the serial killer.
I find it hard to believe a body can wash ashore after 3 months with no animal activity.

Is this first time anyone has seen this picture of Natasha. Looks a lot different to the original grainy picture put out in the Media.

Puggle, where did you find these photos?? Are you sure they are all photos of NJ?

I've seen the "hat" photo previously... maybe from her FB page or something, but I've never seen the pink dress photos.

Fred&edna - No I'm not sure if the other photos are of Natasha....I'm asking for opinions. I myself believe the similarities are striking taking into account makeup and what people can do with the likes of photoshop. I originally got the other photos from a website for escorts working within New York/Long Island area back earlier in 2013. I checked today and the originals are no longer available. I wish I could manipulate the photos to superimpose on top of each other to either establish it is or isn't her.

I am sure it's her...more so with the new picture I recently found to compare it against (the one with the hat)...although having said that I would love to know where that picture originally came from, as all the media showed in the past was the blurry one. I actually think it was the fact that we were only shown this graining/blurry picture to begin with that set off red flags to me. She was a beautiful girl. What family would only provide a photo like that if their daughter/sister were missing an lets not forget she was listed as missing!!....Wouldn't you provide the police with the most clear distinguishable photo you have in an attempt to help find your love one? After she was found deceased there was little said by the family - if anything reported actually came from the family. Her Sister/mother (still not sure on that one) Dolores doesn't even acknowledge Natasha on her facebook....There is no social/employment history to be gleamed about Natasha at all...which in this day and age and for her age seems strange to me too...IDK...maybe I'm making too much of nothing....

I am going to do a complete 360 on this one...after looking into the pictures further with some help I don't believe it is Natasha Jugo. I still have lingering doubts though about her simply wondering off into the night on a beach and drowning herself and her body taking two months to surface. The photo put out for her as a missing person...the total lack of any information on this beautiful soul out there anywhere in a day and age when...if you look hard enough you can find something....still not clear cut suicide to me!!!

It does appear that the (step)family DJ married into was very involved in the Long Island State Park Commission.

I guess it won't make sense to people who don't live near the cold part of the Atlantic or other large bodies of water, but a drowned body sinking in the cold water of winter (and March is still winter in the northeast) and surfacing months later as the ocean warms up in the spring is the normal pattern. In Chicago along Lake Michigan, they call it "body season." We don't have any nicknames quite that blunt, at least not that I'm aware of, but the same thing happens.

Some of the bodies that wash up on the south shore of Long Island have traveled hundreds of miles in the currents. Mostly fishermen washed off boats in winter storms.

There may be other evidence that Natasha didn't kill herself, but the length of time it took the body to surface isn't one of them as far as I can see.

eta: and while I'm pontificating -- there are something like 7 million people living on Long Island. Quite a lot of them make their living in the sex trade. It seems to me that statistically speaking, a certain number of them are going to commit suicide and aren't going to have anything to do with the LISK, the same as a certain number of bus drivers, schoolteachers, housewives, and cops. It also seems to me that trying to force every case into the mix does a disservice to the other victims in that it obscures the real connections.

I hope I have enough qualifiers that this is just my opinion...

Yes I totally agree it's plausible that this was a suicide and your reasons for her body not surfacing for so long make complete sense.

My lingering questions are why did she travel so far to commit the act. I also found it strange that the photo provided was only what the police provided. Even if the family had thought she had committed suicide, would you not think it reasonable to provide a clearer photo...at least until you are sure. It was almost like no one was actively looking for her...

And yes I do agree that unrelated events can be a distraction. I tend to try to exhaust all other avenues of enquiry to satisfy myself of the facts presented by the media......sometimes those situations unresolved in my mind have to go into the mental file of "Maybe/Maybe not related - but don't forget it".

You mean 180?

You mean 180?

180..360...Sheesh all the other sites I have come across on this subject...my mind is spinning!!! I could be wrong but from a late starters perspective.. there seems to be a lot of misinformation/red herring posts out there in the name of "In the spotlight subjects". Just trying to find the truth is really hard....

Trying to overlook BS...

Can anyone tell me where is the most appropriate place to ask the following:

Who were the first responders to Shannon Gilberts call out messages for help -what were the names of the responding officers???...are these callouts accessed by anyone that has a scanner tuned into Suffolk county messages??

Who asked the K9 officer to search - who's request? or was him just doing a random search to exercise his dog? This one I am really interested in knowing the answer.

Why did he search west of the area that Shannon went missing if reports indicated she was heading south west of the Johns home? Per the 911 calls.

What was the outcome for the lawsuit against Soto and McQuaid???

Is there a culture within the Suffolk county Police department that is being covered up???

Good idea about someone being able to hear SG 911 call by a scanner. But for answers to some of your questions you can find in old threds and also I found the 7 series video Dormer did to be most helpful. I don't know how to attach the thread here off my new phone or I would. But you can find them in the LISK area here on WS. Or Google get secure gilgo beach...it should pop right on a YouTube channel.

Fred & Edna, that is VERY interesting this Jugo connection to Long Island Natl Parks!
That family/extended is very curious, to say the least. One of them lives very close to me, iirc, and again if iirc, it is the same area that RR had connections to...I have always found it curious that NJugo left her ID, clothes and car almost exactly the same way RR did on his fake disappearance. I have never ruled him out for some connection to GB4 and AC4 as well as Toronto and Daytona...possibly even MB SC and remotely to Wimington, NC.

After nearly three years of following this case, I always come back to OC, fixers, high profile clients, LLCs, real estate scams, escort services, crooked lawyers/politicians/LE and drug busts.

The media thread is a good place to start.

Also, in regard to your last question:

Federal Investigation of Suffolk County Police Chief

The investigation was prompted by the search for Shannan Gilbert, a 24-year-old prostitute from Jersey City who disappeared in the area last May and remains missing. One month later, the department’s missing persons bureau asked Officer Mallia to search for Ms. Gilbert.

“I assumed we would find her,” he said. “I assumed she was dead. Nobody had a clue.”

Over the summer, the officer and Blue searched the gated beach community where she was last seen, but came up with nothing.

On Dec. 11, he returned, this time venturing west. He said he stuck close to the shoulder of the parkway, because the vegetation was so thick and because data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation showed that when bodies were dumped, most were disposed of about 30 feet from the road. That afternoon, shortly before 3 p.m., Blue picked up a scent on the parkway.
