Mari had to do something to bring attention to the death of Shannan and if local law enforcement would have paid attention like they should have I doubt a civil suit would have ever been filed. Actually it was a smart chess moveNo question there. In a better world it would have been enough instead of turning her involvement into a media circus and a lawsuit.
I think lisk is someone with more money and power than burke. However, I think burke is very well aware of this master of ceremonies. Burke is a guy that wants to fit in with other guys. He's a tough guy and it would have been super if he chose to work for the good of humanity instead of the dark side. We all have the choice. Burke is a follower.SCPC may not be lisk, however all we have learned about him he is certainly capable of one of the murders.
First of all, I am not assuming anything. Second, her death was not undetermined, it was determined to be an accident.

Skeletonized does not = accidental.Doesn't mean anything, she was found completely skeletonized. Even if she was murdered, why do you all are so obsessed with making her a LISK victim?? She has nothing to do with LISK.
BBMWhile there are mixed opinions with regard to Shannan's relationship to this case, we do know that, had she not made the 911 call, and had not her family's persistence in finding their loved one missing, these other murdered victims may never have been found. ( link ) Now, it certainly may turn out Shannan's case is completely unrelated to these. Then again, in light of proximity, the fact that she also used craigslist, and the odd witness accounts? What's that old saying? Imnsho, that's not a coincidence. that's a pattern.
That said, Shannan's missing person's thread contains useful info along with photos ( link ). There's also a wealth of information on the site set up by/for her family regarding both her case as well as the cases of the other victims. ( link )

Normal LE agencies are all over a call, where ever it comes from, SCPD was busy with thier hookers and didn't care to respond. Or purposely didn't respond. You know what else gets me? They say SC didn't respond because it was rerouted to state troopers. Well, here it doesn't matter who gets the call. They all hear it and troopers have jurisdiction to go help or try to find her anywhere. I understand she didn't really know where she was but imo SC, state police and heck even Nassau should all have been out trying to find someone in this situation. The whole excuse of it not being touted to the right agency is bogus. Unless NY operates differently than the PNW (and if that's the case please explain it to me)

I'm not saying she was killed by LISK. She *could* have been killed by LISK. She could have been killed by someone else. Or it could have been an accident. However, what we are saying is that we don't know. What YOU are saying is "it was 100% for sure an accident, I somehow know this for a fact".
Now, back to Shannan, please.

The distortions spread by "insiders" has been the Achilles' Heel of online discussions.
The fascinating thing to me is watching their narrative shift from Dr. Hapless to efforts morphing police corruption into some ring of serial killers.
It's another dead end. Smacks of desperation on behalf of certain parties.

This is a list of "cops" that became serial killers. Cross out the security guards and the Chinese, Brazilian and Russian police. How many ACTIVE American cops have become serial killers????? How many American cops were aware of a SK and shielded them?
