Potential Biorelatives of Caylee wanting to bring Wrongful Death Suit

I hope everyone who has had sex with her comes out of the wood work. SOMEONE is Caylee's dad. Someone that she never even told. Someone who never got to hold Caylee. Someone, who has a mother and father perhaps just like George and Cindy who never got to meet Caylee. Someone who DESERVES to sue her azz in a wrongful death suit, after all, no matter how Caylee died Casey, was negligent in caring for her.

I agree with you but I think that the there is a 2yr limit to file a wrongful death suit in florida. so it will not go anywhere.

They can't. In Florida a wrongful death suit can be filed by decedent's spouse, children, parents, and, when partly or wholly dependent on the decedent for support or services, any blood relatives and adoptive brothers and sisters. As blood relatives, George and Cindy did not depend on Caylee for support.

Additionally, the father of a child born out of wedlock can not sue unless the father has recognized a responsibility for the child's support.

I guess ever how many men KC slept with, no one wants to come forward. I can see why back then, KC was easy and they would never know for sure. Tough spot for a man without the paternity test, much less don't want one if it is a one night stand quickie. Heck, they may not have even known KC's name, which is why I think KC did not give a name, she doesn't his name either. Yep, logic says KC does not even know the father's name.

Second, the child has been murdered, by all logical thought by her mother. I don't think this would be a good time to have any DNA testing done. The haters would pounce.

I am highly skeptical of anyone who did not come out in August 2008 when Caylee was missing and it was national news...I don't recall anyone coming forward when there might still be child support to be paid...

Did Josh from Ga, Jesus Ortiz, and Eric Baker all die in the same month?

We were told that Casey mentioned it the day of Caylee's birthday party in August 2007.

Whether that is true or not, who knows...

Here's my theory (and I'm no Dr. Phil): FCA was, what, 18 when she got pregnant with Caylee? I'm thinking she got knocked up on purpose because maybe she figured she could get her parents to support her and Caylee, and she could get them to take care of the child (which they basically did), so she could continue to party hearty and have a great time and not be bothered with some pesky JOB, or any other adult responsibilities. Only it didn't quite work out the way she planned. The baby turned out to be a real impediment to "the beautiful life." Solution? Get rid of it. Then - poof! - back to living in LaLaLand.

I guess we'll never know the truth about that (or anything else, when it comes to FCA). She was good at matching the story to the occasion/person, so who really knows what was going on. The end result was tragic, either way.

Then in June 2011... it suddenly "came to her" that THIS could be the same Casey with the cop father and nurse mother that her son told her about having a daughter with.

She says her son told her about the child... either he was having a girl or already had a girl... (I've heard both versions from her) when she mentioned wanting a granddaughter.

Then, they didn't get around to talking about it again... and then he was killed. So it was either 2 months or 2 years after this conversation that he died.

He was killed when Caylee was 2. That's a long time to not talk to your mother, who you are close with and talk to frequently... about your daughter.

Casey told people in August of 2007 that Caylee's father was killed in a car accident.

This guy died in October 2007.

Agree. But the A's do have problems with dates and other things, so maybe they got the August date wrong? Who knows, but you are right it is not adding up.

I would think that a father who just found out he was the father COULD sue? It was not his fault if he did not know he had fathered a child? But I don't know the law and since it does not always make sense then who knows.

I don't think this is the same Christopher Lee Umberger (can there be more than one in Federal Prison?). This one is in a West Virginia jail. (Southern Regional Jail is in Beaver, WV). Have not been able to find an Umberger in a SC prison...

According to the article @ the link below, he's currently in a SC prison. The info in the other article I found was from 2010 when he was apprehended in WV for violating his parole. It's likely that when US Marshals arrested him, he was held temporarily in the WV jail before being sent back to the Williamsburg prison. Both articles state that he was convicted on heroin trafficking charges in 2001, so I think it's probably the same person.

Umberger violated his supervised release and is in a South Carolina prison.

This article also says that prison officials say he was behind bars when Caylee was conceived.

At any rate, since he was in prison when KC became pregnant, his claim is totally bogus.

ETA: I did a search @ Williamsburg FCI, but with the spelling of Umburger (I think he spells his name both with an 'e' and with a 'u'), and found him. He's scheduled to be released in September 2012.

Imagine little Caylee telling people about her family. George, Cindy, Lee, grandma Donna, and grandpa/grandma Wendy formerly known as Wilfred who's currently in jail (according to one story). Like the poor child wouldn't have enough with just the Anthonys.

Holy Moly! Oh my.

If the woman truly believes Caylee is her granddaughter, she should get a DNA test on herself and then have a specialist compare the results with Caylee's. We've all seen Caylee's results. All she needs to see is if Caylee and she shared some of the same alleles (markers). They could also get her son's imprisoned transsexual father to give his DNA for testing. That would give her a good idea if she is indeed Caylee's grandmother. Maybe ABC would help foot the bill for testing - they'd get an interesting exclusive from it. A really good story for the Disney people.

And here's another bizarre twist in the Casey Anthony case. The photo of Michael Duggan's father could be Caylee's grandmother, or grandfather, depending how you look at it.

Check out the family pictures at the above link, the son and his parents are pictured (they flash to each one). Little Caylee looks nothing like them, IMO.

JP Chatt didn't know KKC in 2004. He just met her in 2008 to the best of my kge. He met her about the time that Ricardo did. He is said to have not liked her at all.

Just an FYI on JP Chatt...His mother is Puerto Rican and Caylee's DNA profile showed she had no Hispanic DNA.
If I'm mistaken about this maybe a DNA Doc could clarify the DNA results? :biggrin:
