Just caught up reading all the comments. I was really disappointed in the movie. I guess I forgot it was based on Jeff Ashton's book, which I read and thought was very good, but I wanted more of a story, more "poetic license". I wanted to SEE the story we all believe. I wanted to see the fight between Cindy and FCA. I wanted to SEE George and the smell in the car. And most of all, I wanted to SEE FCA murder Caylee, apply the duct tape and throw her poor little body in the trunk and then go make out with Toni. I wanted everyone to SEE her throw her away like trash in the swamp. Then EVERYONE would see the true horror of what FCA did. Those who didn't follow the whole abomination of this case still have no real idea.
But back to what we did see, I have to chuckle at how many scenes were in restaurants, cafeterias and lunch rooms. Makes it look like all they did was eat and drink coffee. I also think it was somewhat slanted making the prosecution witnesses look foolish, like Dr Vass talking about the divining rod out of a coat hanger, made it seem like he was the nutty professor. If I knew nothing about the events and saw this movie, I can see someone believing it was the correct verdict. I think the whole thing lacked drama and passion.
