Psychic Ginnette Lucas claims she was on the phone with D. Casey while he searched

I posted this on the Questions thread, but I thought someone here might be able to help. TIA.

I'm confused, which happens quite frequently. This article says that DC took the pictures before the psychic called him. Is this different that what we have heard? I thought the psychic was the reason he was in the woods in the first place. Wasn't she supposed to be guiding him?

Unless she lies under oath while being interviewed by LE or on the stand. I don't think she can be charged with a thing.

I'm curious about something. What you say has been said by many others, but just in general I remember the prosecution used Scott Peterson's TV interviews to help put the nail in his coffin, so lying on television is not a smart thing to do and can definitely come back to haunt you.

And if they found the body (which I think they were given directions, clues by KC on how to find her), what better cover.... the psychic told me where to look. That puts her and Kidfinders on the map for finding "missing kids".

It helped with his ruining his credibility, yes. He wasn't charged for lying in the interviews though.

Oh, thank you, MJ. That's the way I understood it also. I thought maybe I had missed something. I'll just chalk it up to reporter error then.

Of course she never actually claimed to be on the phone with him at the EXACT moment we see DC tramping and slashing his way through the woods and saying "It should be right here", according to KB's account.

So perhaps this could get her off the hook, technically. Because LE might not care if she was or wasn't on the phone with DC any other time. Very tricky. I DON'T KNOW WHY no one who's interviewed her hasn't asked that question. That's the point in time that really matters enough to charge her with lying. Grrrr...

I totally understand your confusion with that article, as I am confused also.
First off, that was one of the most poorly written NEWS clips that I have read in a while. First sentence:

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- A psychic in Virginia told private investigator Dominic Casey to search the woods near the Anthony family home back in November, a month before Caylee's body was discovered.

Shouldn't that read "A psychic claims to have told....

Dominic Casey was on the phone with psychic Ginette Matacia Lucas , states away in Virginia leading him to the place she saw Caylee in a dream.

He saw trash all over, an empty oil quart, a toilet.
An empty quart?

Dominic Casey says the more he found of what the psychic was describing on the phone, the more freaked out he got. He says this was a very emotional time for him.

That should read: The more Dominic talks about this psychic deal, the more guilty he and others appear to Jay D

That's herself or her "manager" putting out a press release (dated today) touting her Nancy Grace interview. She is just out to make a name for herself. I googled "Chandra Levy Ginette Lucas" and nothing came up. Surprise, surprise.

She was more interested in name dropping on Nancy Grace that talking about what she said, what she saw...she's a fake who scams people out of money just like GJS.

Ive been searching my space friends lists to see if I could find Ginnette on anyones list. KFN is set to private but I was surprised to find GSJ on MB (former A's spokesperson) on her friends list. Id still like to know how Ginette got into picture.

Yes, but I listened very carefully to her NG interview and she never claimed that herself. So I was talking about her lies. DC is another story.

they call themselves "professional dowsers" and in her interview on wftv, the claims she makes about her partner's credentials are for the most part discounted in the thread i included above. mysterious.

My guess is that they haven't got their stories quite straight, because neither of them appear credible to me. D. Casey is very deliberately poking around near the crime scene while talking on the phone a month before the remains are found. Everyone wants to know who he is talking to. First it was his sick daughter, and now it's a former PI with previous ties to PIs in Orlando who just happens to have a dream and called him early that morning. But she can't produce her phone records. Nothing about it passes the smell test, IMO.

As for whether she can be charged, unless and until she repeats this nonsense to authorities, I doubt she can be charged with anything.

I'm confused. If she is just flat out lying, won't she get in trouble? Maybe I'm just a goody-two-shoes, but why would she flat out lie knowing she could get in trouble with LE? Other than publicity, I mean...obviously she's getting that. What could she be charged with?

Don't get me wrong...I think she's lying. Everyone and their brother that I know of can get their cell phone records. Until I see proof that she was on that phone with him at that time, I don't believe anything she says. I'm just wondering what happens to her when LE can confirm that she was NOT on the phone with DC during the search.

I don't understand either. I said the other day I can't believe so many so called professionals surrounding this case are just straight up liars and I can't understand why they would risk their careers to do so..boggles my mind.

hmm.. Matacia taught dowsing techniques in vietnam era, but, according to the previously linked thread, the techniques weren't actually used; so yes, he was commissioned, but, no, his skills weren't used.

i can't a reference yet on google to see if he was in the military, but still looking.

I've been looking around too about psychics and Chandra Levy and came across this quote(I couldn't find one thing about Lucas working on this case)
