1) Well, I'd like to know where this guy gets all his $$$ to travel so extensively - it's been said he has been to Thailand five times in the last two years --

and

2) Anyone know anything more on the rumor (or fact) that his brother (Nate?) worked for John Ramsey at one time?

POCO....did you ever consider placing your cat into rehab?

I have seen it posted that Karr has changed his story multiple times. Can some one point me to where he has changed his story? I am anxious to see what "facts" he has changed.

I know but SuperDave is saying it like it's fact that hair is Patsy's meanwhile it still could be the intruders. The hair being identified is huge in this case and deserves a link to who said it if it is going to be posted.

"I'm sorry but it's hard to believe that no where online does it say the hair was identified. I found a 2006 article in the Rocky Mountain News saying the hair is still unidentified. Don't you think a paper like the Rocky Mountain News would know what fox reported."

No, because the Ramseys got the media to the point where anything they said would be unchallenged.

"Fox reporting that should be pretty big news ie. splattered all over the web if it was said by a reliable source. Could you give me a link?"

I'll try.

A link to a credible source. If Fox reported it they must have written it somewhere.

Does anyone else find it odd that since John Carr hit the Internnational News that not a single person has come out and said this man ever behaved in an inappropriate sexual manner towards them or their child. Not in Alabama, Georgia , California or abroad?
3 days ago I thought people would be coming out of the woodwork making such claims.
I also find it interesting no one has come to the surface stating that they knew/saw him in Colorado at the time of the murder.........
he is nuts .......................................:furious:

I thought the tape was tested and it came from a lot that was sold at the local hardware store ( I forget the name of the store). I thought the tape was part of a roll that Patsy used.

Hey Tybee,

Was just thinking about the "five misdemeanor charges of possessing child *advertiser censored*."

First of all, found this (dated Aug 18, 2006):
No Evidence Karr Molested Children In Sonoma County

I re-listened to the video of Wendy Hutchins (sp?) found here (go to link for):
[http://kron.com/]"Woman Says Karr Told Her About Ramsey"[/URL]

First of all, several days back I feel sure that I read an article that suggested that, originally, authorities went to Karr's house based on reports by a 3rd party, i.e. that is when they found *advertiser censored*. Based on that which I heard in the Hutchins video:

1. reporter says Hutchins knew JMK when he was teaching (Jan - April)
2. Hutchins said JMK was drinking, loosened up and began talking about JBR
3. She contacted authorities who gave her permission to tape him, FBI got involved

I'm wondering if:
a. JMK spoke to Hutchins (as she mentions in the video)
b. Hutchins reported to authorities (as she mentions in the video)
c. After Hutchins taped JMK and authorities listened to it, they decided that they HAD TO go investigate him and they HAD TO find "something" to hold him on until they could fully investigate any real possible involvement in the JBR case.

So...they "had to" find something like the *advertiser censored* counts maybe? But check out the following...

At the above link entitled "No Evidence Karr Molested Children In Sonoma County," there is the following quote:

>>>
Julia Freis, now a defense attorney, said the five pornographic images that Karr allegedly had on his computer were of children and adults.

The children were dressed normally. "I don't remember any of them being 'dressed up,"' Freis said.
<<<

Note: that Karr "alledgedly" had on his computer (but we've also had "alleged" murderers who were seen committing the murder.)
Note: "the children were dressed normally." They were dressed?

"Karr was arrested in Sonoma County on April 13, 2001" and "He was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail, got out on supervised release in October and failed to appear in court on Dec. 13, 2001."

Holy smokes... They set his bail at 100K, now that would mean 10K to get out, and this is a guy who once owned a Jaguar and a Delorean (I wonder what he drove in Sonoma?) They kept him locked up from April to October, that's 6 months...hmmm I wonder if bail that high is typical for these offenses.

I wonder if the whole allegation/jail thing was to buy the authorities time to investigate JMK due to the crazy talk about JBR. Hutchins said that they investigated Karr and eventually decided that he wasn't involved. Also...in the above mentioned article:

"Wong said Karr cleared a background check before he was hired and claimed to have taught computer classes at an elementary school and a community college in Alabama."

So...he cleared a background check?

Now then, I'll admit that IF Hutchins heard crazy talk (which I believe she did, and provided tapes to authorities), JMK was a downright dodo fruitloop for talking as he "appeared to do" (per Hutchins.) Did he figure people would let it just slide by? On the other hand, that is Northern CA, the "home of much weed" and certain tolerances of "oddball." He was new to CA, so probably thought he could get away with that (but he is supposed to be intelligent?) We know the guy had weird ways, was the guy "cracking?" Perhaps...but was he railroaded afterwards, due to his crazy talk?

If he was beginning to crack, then got tossed in jail on a trumped up charge, and lost his job and license, his wife, his ability to participate in his children's lives...wasn't that a formula for a complete breakdown and/or extreme paranoia (some of the references in emails to the journalism prof that dug up JBR murderers from under rugs.)

You asked:
"Does anyone else find it odd that since John Carr hit the Internnational News that not a single person has come out and said this man ever behaved in an inappropriate sexual manner towards them or their child. Not in Alabama, Georgia , California or abroad? 3 days ago I thought people would be coming out of the woodwork making such claims."

Durn good question Tybee.

Wrinkles

The pubic/auxillary hair is still unidentified. I don't know who said it was but no one is reporting that was Patsy's. Just because someone on the news says it means very little if it is unsubstantiated. If substantiated that is huge and as I said it would be all over the internet and the news. The Rocky Mountain News would say it was Patsy's if it was substantiated.

• From above: "Animal hair, alleged to be from a beaver, was found on the duct tape. Carnes wrote that nothing in the Ramsey home was found matching the hair."

Beaver hair? BEAVER HAIR? Anyone have a clue on this?

• From above: "Police also found a baseball bat not owned by the Ramseys on the north side of the house with fibers on it consistent with fibers found in the carpet in the basement where JonBenet’s body was found."

Any clues on this bat?

The pubic/ancillary hair found on the blanket did not come from either John or Patsy Ramsey. That determination was made by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, which had samples of pubic hair from both John and Patsy for comparison.

Steve Thomas cites this in his book on p136, and Lou Smit has also confirmed it.

That hair remains unidentified.

I have a question. During the night JBR was killed did;nt one of the neighbours say in a statement that she heard a scream? Could anyone clarify this for me.Also, vaguely remember something about a scrapeing sound like concrete being moved.Am i correct! Thanks in advance, guys and gals.

Yes, on both counts. That is what a neighbor and her husband told police, or told a reporter who told police.

Smit experimented in the house to see where screams from the basement could be heard both inside the house and outside.

thankyou, Lovely. I wonder could those screams be heard outside? I know the house is old and well built, but if the neighbours heard them then why did'nt Patsy or john? Also, did either of the adults take any sleeping tablets? What about the concrete scrapeing, was this ever much of an issue. What could it have been caused by.Any theories. The whole concrete thing is driveing me 'nuts'.

Re the "pubic hair" that turned out to be Patsy's arm hair:

SuperDave said:
It was in a FOX report that day.

Actually, there was no root, so they had to use mitochondrial DNA, HB.
Thanks, SD. It appears Fox News reported it along with other intruder-debunking evidence and the Ramseys sued:

Here's more info:

http://www.forumsforjustice.org/forums/showthread.php?p=61144&highlight=hair+pubic#post61144

The source for the hair ID: Carol McKinley, Fox News, August 23, 2002.

From the link, a post reporting on the live TV report:

"Unidentified arm hair belongs to Patsy"

Carol McKinnley on Fox news confirming investigators telling her the shoe print, palm print and unidentified hair are all solved.
shoe print is Burke's
palm print is melinda's
hair found on blanket is Patsy's. testing by mitochondrial dna prooves this.

From Tricia's post at that link: I've had it confirmed that Carol McKinley was told, by a police source very close to the investigation, that the pubic hair did belong to Patsy.

This was included in the same report, as mentioned in the posts above, that Lin Wood is suing Fox News for.

Just another think bugging me.Was one of John Andrew's friends staying in the house around the time of the murder>if so, when? Who was he? Was he ruled out of the investigation? Why?

Carol McKinley might have been told by some unknown source, but Steve Thomas and Lou Smit agree that the pubic/ancillary hair has never been identified to the person it came from.

Agree as of when?

Got a post-August 2002 source for Thomas? (Never mind Smit.)

Another question.does anyone know much about a suspect called Gary Oliva ?
