Am I the only one who thinks that, that dusty and dirty hellhole is an absurd place for R's cigars ? I don't buy the coolest place thing. What do they do in summer then? People keep them in boxes or cigar humidors in their houses.

Hey maybe they were deliberately placed there after sb saw JB's two purple marks on her body to suggest they were burn marks as a decoy .

IIRC, the plaque was earned by JR in the Navy due to service in the Subic Bay Training Command.

The plaque did not say or have the initials "SBTC." Early press reports printed this erroneously. From IRMI (Thomas):

The media erroneously added the words Training Center to Subic Bay and obtained an explanation for the SBTC acronym, although Subic Bay was a massive naval installation, not a training base. Her mouth was closed when the duct tape was applied. I believe it was still closed after JR removed the tape and when she was brought upstairs, as it appears that way in certain photos.

I'd imagine so, with regard to the Butler Door Pantry.

The balcony was processed, yes. Police specifically focused on it due to the fact that it was a direct point of entry to her room, with the door.

I think if you look at the photo leaked within the past couple of years (which I won’t post here), you’ll see her lips are separated at the time of the AR (her upper teeth are visible). Also, the AR describes the tip of her tongue as being “dried,” which I don’t think would have happened if her mouth were closed. (JMO)

OTG, I remember hearing somewhere that her lips left an impression of being closed on the underside of the duct tape (which would indicate that her mouth was closed when it was applied). I think what was deduced was, that since there were no signs of her mouth being at all opened while the duct tape was being applied, it was indicative of her having already been murdered (as she would have struggled while it was being applied, trying to open her mouth).

I guess it's a tough question to answer definitively, since there are photos of her with her mouth closed and photos of her with it open. There's one of a side view of her face, and it's completely closed.

He didn't have any little sisters left? He's not a serial killer? Nobody ever committed a real or imagined offense again that set him off to the same degree? He learned some amount of impulse control as he aged? He got counseling? He didn't mean to kill her but did it in a fit of anger and then felt bad? He has and we just don't know? He's waiting? He doesn't have such an enabling mother anymore?

There are many possible reasons.

You really haven't been paying attention to my words. You put ideas on me which are your own. I answered a poster's question. I did not offer my opinion on the matter or about what I think happened, so I don't know why you think you should just decide what I think. That's very presumptuous, which is not a quality that will work in your favor in life.

And I'm well aware of the effects of adrenaline and stress on children and adults.

I'm unsure why you don't think a child who is almost ten could kill? Or kill by accident? There are many documented cases of children who killed. I'm also unsure why you're projecting on others saying they think Burke is a killing machine? No one has called him a killing machine.

Peppermint, it seems to me that you think that every killer is serial or continues killing. Not true. Some killers lead normal lives once their "target" is gone. John List is one example. He remarried and didn't kill again.

It is more or less close to impossible to do anything correctly when you join a hundred of such specialists.
