And if a trophy, might it have been the murder weapon?
I have no way to source this with a link, but one of my recollections is that JR said that the medallion was a gift from JBR which she made herself at school/church art class type of thing which the medallion said something like "The best Christmas present I can give you is ME"
But I also recall various other interviews where he said that the medallion was from JBR's most recent pageant, which she told her daddy that her medal was for him.
Too many yrs have gone by, too m,any different stories to keep it all straight anymore.
Thank you qft.
It'd be really great if you or anyone knows where I can view the original of that footage or news report. I've seen it (but didn't think to save it) and I need confirmation of the date and location. Thanks if anyone can help.
Tortoise, this scene of JR has appeared in a couple of places I believe. But if you go to this link and look at the frame starting at the 14:16, it can be seen. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4tmxl0 This scene is part one of the program: JonBenet: An American Murder Mystery, September 12 14, 2016
My understanding about this photo is this:
1) Per STs book, JR was dressed in a blue and white striped shirt and khaki pants.
2) The pots on the side of the door match those seen in the photo of the back yard below.
3) The last time they left the home was the afternoon of the 26[SUP]th[/SUP]. A white police van took JR to the Fs home; PR got in a second car and was also driven to their home.
DFFs take on this is similar to mine.

Ok, I believe this photo may be from Dec. 28, when JR and the family had to submit fingerprints, DNA, blood, etc..to the police. Which would make since because I believe Pam came back on the night of the 27th with the medal.
Here is a better shot of the door.

I'm not seeing your photos either, CS. But thank you for your thoughts on this. It is interesting about PPs raid on the home. ST claimed she went into the home on the second day of the BPDs official processing of the house, 48 hours after the crime had been revealed. "And it was just as bad to learn that forty-eight hours into this, we had not interviewed the parents. I felt that we were already in deep trouble. It was about to get much worse. As Gosage and I sat in police headquarters, Pam Paugh, one of Patsy Ramseys sisters who had flown in from Atlanta, was staging a one-woman raid on the crime scene that I could only compare to burning the damned place down." (From IRMI) ST claimed that he ducked into the BPD on the 28[SUP]th[/SUP]. It was the day that he conferred with Gosage about the lack of interviews with the police.
Final non-essential thought on this: I wont try to further convince anyone that this is a photo of JR leaving his home for the final time on the 26[SUP]th[/SUP]. (JR said that he never returned to the home after the 26[SUP]th[/SUP].) I dont claim to have zeroed in on the correct door to the home. But like Tortoise I also reviewed the Ss, Fs and Boulder Criminal Justice building where the Rs went to give non-testimonial evidence. Sure I could be incorrect on this; however, what convinced me that it is their home, despite some anomalies or questions about from which door his exit took place, were the flower pots. Yall wlll have to look for those pots at some other location, if the photo is not of the R home.
