"Deputies said a neighbor last saw Carter at his home on Big Stone Lane last Sunday.

According to his sister Safonya Martin, the 61-year-old has not been seen since.

Martin said her brother is a homebody and would not just disappear.

"He works in Middlesex County. He doesn’t really travel of the county too much. He might go to Gloucester or Tappahannock, but he’s just a homebody [and] doesn’t bother anyone,” Martin said. “Family is everything to us, so we just want him to come home safe.”

Martin said it is also strange that Reggie left his cell phone and keys behind.

Reggie is a single father of two with a daughter in the military and a son about to start college."

Details of Disappearance
Carter was last seen driving an older model white car in the Kilmer Point area of Middlesex County, Virginia on May 20, 2018. He left his keys, cellular phone and car behind at his residence and has never been heard from again.

Carter lived on Big Stone Lane in Urbanna, Virginia at the time of his disappearance. His family describes him as a "homebody" who kept to a routine, was always home by 5:00 p.m., and didn't usually travel outside the county. They also stated he frequently carried large sums of cash. He is the single father of two adult children. Few details are available in his case.
