I still can not get over the fact when CA made that 911 call and other times she says without even thinking about it really...(kinda had an answer ready perhaps) The last time she saw Caylee was June 9th....now folks come on.. she had a knock down drag out fight with Kc plus spent all that time with her father ect.... why wouldn't she say "the last time I saw my granddaughter was on Fathers Day" even if she did not remember the actual date of the 15th..you know that has always bothered me.

Maybe she was keeping to the Script. Only it wasn't a script written by the babysitter but someone else....

Have these people, from day ONE, done ANYTHING that made sense??

Can anyone tell me who MARK is?

Since the phone numbers are blocked out on the one I saw, I would like to know who he is if anyone knows.

I noticed that KC called him each time before she called Det.Melich and afterward also.

Does anyone know who he is?

Turbo - this is interesting. Do we know when he was last in FL?

Salem

I can understand how Cindy might be so panicked that she wouldn't be able to think straight, and somehow she came up with June 9th. But what makes this very suspicious is that Casey made the identical mistake. On July 15 she says "I haven't seen my daughter in 31 days." Right after that she says Caylee has been missing since June 9.

How can you know it's been 31 days since your daughter went missing--but you have no idea what date she went missing?

Makes no sense, and if it doesn't make sense, there's deception involved. Right?

Cindy said in one of her interviews that she initially got the date wrong because she remembered taking Caylee to see her dad. She thought she had taken her last right after she got back from vacation, which would have made it June 9th. She said she wasn't even thinking about Father's Day at that point.

Was it SoulScape? I remeber it too....

Ah, that would explain why I got the wrong name. Both are SS. Sorry about the mixup. I did find the link in my history. It's an excellent article.

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m2194/is_n10_v65/ai_18920162/pg_1?tag=artBody;col1 BTW, there are links to other articles on the same topic on this page.

Here's a little bit from the article:

Statement analysis: what do suspects' words really reveal?
FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin,The, Oct, 1996 by Susan H. AdamsE-mail Print Link Police subsequently arrested Susan for the murder of her children. She was tried and convicted and is currently serving a life sentence in a South Carolina correctional institution.

Many investigators use a technique called "statement analysis" to discern the truth in statements like the ones given by Susan and David Smith. In statement analysis, investigators examine words, independent of case facts, to detect deception. They also remain alert for information omitted and question why the suspect may have done so. Investigators then analyze the clues unintentionally provided by a suspect and use this insight during the subsequent interview.

In the case of Susan Smith, by analyzing the statements made by the victims' parents, one could conclude that the father believed the boys were alive and the mother knew the children were dead. The key to this deduction lies in simple English grammar, specifically, verb tense. The father referred to the children in the present tense; the mother used the past tense. Of all times, when the "abducted" children really would need their mother, she speaks of them in the past tense, e.g., "They needed me." The children could no longer want or need her because they were no longer alive.

This article gives a brief overview of statement analysis. It examines four components of statement analysis - parts of speech (pronouns, nouns, and verbs), extraneous information, lack of conviction, and the balance of the statement.

Whew! I thought with all the holiday happenings here...I may have lost my mind temporarily. LOL Thanks for clearing that up for me!! :woohoo:

BTW~ It is an excellent article!

No, I'm afraid I'm the one who has lost her mind. :P:

Do we have a thread devoted to psycholinguistics? I know we are supposed to be selective about beginning new threads but with this topic, it seems there is lots of grist for the mill.

That's a fabulous idea, I've been hoping someone would do that. Seriouslysearching's link provides access to the specific methods taught by the FBI to their own investigators. It's very enjoyable reading, with examples.

If we used the specifics found at that link, we could then review and analyze statements made by KC and her family. You'll be amazed at how glaringly obvious the Anthonys "mistruths" become.

I'm ready to post two examples as soon as we have a topic open. LOL

That's perfectly believable. But what about Casey's bad memory.

I started the coversation about using Forensic psycholinguistics to deconstruct casey language. All of you will rest assured knowing that per my conversation with Sandra C. the computer forensic specialist with orange county sheriffs office Nick S. will be looking into this. Yeah!!!! They are very aware of webslueths.

Excellent!

I keep going over the day of the 15th trying to make sense of what happened and what could have possibly happened. This is my opinion of everything of course. From what we know CA took Caylee to see her parents. KC was at TL in the morning. CA came back home and then KC came home. There was a fight overheard by the neighbor. On one of the interviews of CA she says KC left on the 15th when she was going thru a timeline of events. The fight between them was most likely instigated by CA because of the stealing of money. CA probably told her to get her act together and had enough of KC with her lack of responsibility. Caylee was most likely very upset if she saw the fighting and might have wanted CA for comfort. KC would have been outraged at that and resentful. It would have been a power struggle because even though KC might not want Caylee she was still hers not her mothers. I think KC blamed Caylee for not allowing her to do what she wanted and blamed her mother for having to keep her in the beginning and being the first one to hold her. I also think she was jealous of the bond that they had. I don't think she left her room that night and just shut the door and everyone out but Caylee. The more confined she was the more the resentment grew and she wanted freedom. It is possible that this was when she planned out what she was going to do. I think she believes she can lie her way out of this without taking any responsibilty for what happened because she thinks she is so smart. With CA I think she feels guilt for having the argument and blames herself. She also might feel guilty for not doing something sooner about Caylee. I think she knows Caylee is gone and is trying to make amends with KC by trying to save her which would alleviate some of the guilt she has for having the fight with KC. She is putting up a front of saying Caylee is alive to help KC's defense but knows realistically that she is gone but doesn't want to believe it to be true. She doesn't want to think that KC would do anything to harm Caylee and put the family thru this. I think she is completely torn apart and unable to tell what is the right thing to do or what to believe anymore. She is having a hard time accepting reality for what it is and in order for her to get thru this she deals with only her reality of how things are. I could be way off base with this but it was just the impression of how I perceived things.

Way to go!!!:woohoo::woohoo:

Can we all imagine how many arguments over the past 2 yrs. Caylee witnessed. Can we all look back and remember how frightened we were as children when our parents fought? I can only imagine how scared & confused Caylee was while in that home. Witnessing the two women she loved the most at war with each other. I think we can possibly say she was scared confused in her last hours. So Sad! The baby wasn't even in any social circles that had child advocates ( baby daycare) that might have sensed something was awry. The YMCA has daycare programs that help people pay within their means. However you must show birth certificate & well child check-ups. Once again no one paying attention to the littleone They seem to busy with getting on with their own lives.

Where was KC for Fathers Day? I have never heard this mentioned, but you would think she would have been with GA at some time. Maybe this has to do with the fight that night. Did she acknowledge him that day????
