The timeline has been updated to show recent events beginning February 2013 to present.

There are a few additions to be made within the timeline, they will come at a later time. Thank you for all your help!

Thank you Salem for helping me with the updates. You're awesome!
Thank you Lash for all your work, and also Salem!
Can you point me towards where the timeline is?? Can't seem to locate it.

That woman pictured above is not Dina. She is an asian investigator and that snap of her back is her entering the crime scene that morning. I kept the photo shown below as I thought "an asian female investigator investigating the demise of another asian female". The photo below is her after entering the scene and now answering the door with her white gloves on and her shoulder purse which is now her notebook. It is the same grey pants suit, the same hair style, etc.

Ann Rule's book after page 366 has about 14 pages of photos. Page 4 of those photos has this same woman with the black purse - identified as Detective Angela Tsuida talking with detectives in the driveway.

Hi Carioca!

The timeline can be found in two threads. The very first post on this thread and in the Rebecca Zahau Nalepa Reference thread. Here are the direct links.

Carioca, the two Asian detectives are one and the same. I have excellent facial recognition skills. She's just wearing different clothes and in these pics she has her hair up. Asians look young especially when their hair is down. But do you notice how short and slender Tsuida is, and her posture's very different, compared to the woman with the big black purse entering the Spreckels mansion. I have a strong suspicion that that woman in the pic with big black purse is Dina, and that is why as Inparadise says, someone had said they saw Dina at the crime scene on Wed morn.

But we should wait for confirmation...

Just in case the CONFIRMATION on who was standing on the front porch on Wednesday a.m was still in doubt....IT DEFINATELY WAS NOT DET. TSUIDA! I read Detective Tsuida's investigative report, and she clearly states than she arrived at 1914 hours (7:14 PM) along with the ME, Lucas. Again for clarification, Tsuida was NOT the woman standing on the front porch on Wednesday morning. This is a VERY IMPORTANT FACT, IMO.

I agree IQuestion, I believe strongly that Dina got the ball rolling fast and furious on the false narrative about Rebecca's suicde that Wed morning when Rebecca's nude, dead body was found. I believe Dina invoked the detectives' sympathy at the crime scene by planting the false narrative that Rebecca caused the braindeath of Dina's one and only son the day before and therefore, Rebecca committed suicide out of guilt. I also think that may have been when "The Housemaid" video was conveniently placed at the mansion to further incriminate Rebecca.

Hi IQuestion!

Which report are you referring to? In search warrant 11-164/65, Detective Tuisda says she arrived at the scene at approximately 09:20 hours and attended a briefing in the driveway? TIA

BOURNE Thanks for sticking with me on this thought....I have a very important (IMO) points to make. This is the investigative narrative, the part I want to emphasize (begins on PAGE 2 of 19)http://media.trb.com/media/acrobat/2011-09/64536835-06182700.pdf
SCENE DESCRIPTION:
On 07/13/11 at 1914 HOURS, I arrived at the scene located at 1043 Ocean Boulevard in Coronado.
........etc, etc, etc

Dr. Lucas and I were escorted to the back of the residence... etc, etc

(in the guest house) A FEW PIECES OF WOMEN'S CLOTHING ON THE FLOOR...

Welll, well, well.....there was more than "underwear" in the garbage can, huh?? How in the world would LE know who the "female clothes" belonged to? I am guessing they belonged to a slender, adult female, Rebecca.

LASH...thank you as always...I ABOUT BURST A BLOOD VESSEL trying to figure out how to attach Det Tsuida's narrative and TIME OF ARRIVAL to the crime scene!!!

Hi IQuestion, I just read the document you cited. The first report was written and signed by Dana Gary, the ME investigator. Ms. Gary was the one who arrived with the ME at night 7:14pm (19:14 hours). When Ms. Gary wrote the paragraph called "Antemortem Events", she was saying she herself had an interview with Det. Tsuida, ME Lucas, and other detectives.

So it looks like Det. Tsuida's search warrant indicated she did arrive early Wed morning 09:20 hours. However, Dina was also physically present at the mansion that Wed morning when Rebecca's body was found as well. Based on photographic evidence, I believe unequivocally that the large woman with curly bangs carrying a large black bag entering Spreckels mansion Wed morning in the photo was Dina. Besides the different body frames, the large woman in the photo was wearing a completely different outfit than the two suits I've seen Det. Tsuida wearing on Wed and Thurs pics/videos. Also, an insider said that Dina was eyewitnessed at the crime scene Wed morning.

I think the only way to resolve this issue is to directly ask Det. Tsuida during the civil case, perhaps even during a depo. :)

It looks like you're correct Bourne, I assumed the writing was from Lucas, but it appears Dana Gary was the author.

AND - We have to pray the civil suit gets rolling and an out of court settlement doesn't stop these types of depositions. So many details can be learned in those depositions, many questions answered, but we have to hope JS money doesn't get there first!

:please:

IIRC, Det. Tsuida was taken off this case very early. I wonder why?

THANKS BOURNE and F*LASH* If they had an icon with a "blushing face wearing a dunce hat" I would gladly put it on my name! Thought I really had some great info...and then Bourne pointed out that is was Dana G'a narrative. I think I should just stick to "looking at pictures and videos" cuz I sure messed that one up. :blushing::blushing:
Nonetheless, the woman I saw on the newsreport standing on the front porch sure looked like DS!

If DR's presence there that morning is verified, that may also explain why RZ was left out in the open, without a covering or tent, for nearly 12 hours. It may also have been the beginning of the push to keep the note painted on the door from being made public.

If true, DR's presence there that morning would be a huge breach of professionalism. Someone could lose their job.

BBM above:
Lack of professionalism is not a "firing offense" at SDSO...some might say "lack of professionalism" is a job requirement! (The Attorney General's Office had to intervene in order to get SDSO to release evidence/ information to the Zahau family... if the family member's death was suicide, as SDSO claimed, why not hand over every single item of evidence?)

In my opinion, it speaks volumes that SDSO selectively chose what evidence to put in the investigative file they gave to the Zahau family. SDSO, did not turn over all the evidence and they still have Becky's belongings in their possession. I now understand why it took them so long to hand over the file, because SDSO cherry picked. Why? Maybe the were asked or told to protect Jonah's privacy along with Dina's. If there is nothing to hide, then what is there to protect?

Hi mittymick - just wondering, WAS Det. Tsuida taken off the case very early? If a detective stays on a case until an official conclusion is announced, then her job on this case would have ended just prior to September 2, 2011, I presume. I was curious why she wasn't present at RZ's autopsy. IIRC she requested to be present, but apparently wasn't.

Yes. I believe she WAS taken off. And yes, she WAS assigned to RZ's autopsy. AND she also was involved with checking RZ's phone out.

Could you reference Detective Tsuida's exit from RZ Case.....I'm unaware of this.
Thanks.

I recall in the reports that the Detective requested to be present at the autopsy but then was not present for some reason.
