Remains found in Big Spring

I have small hands, not much larger than my 9yos. I think unless the person reporting specified a small child's hands, Hailey's hand might look quite small to man.

I think so too and if the remains are seletonized then the hand would appear much smaller.

imho, I don't think these particular tanks are associated with Weaver

and I am really worried if it is dear Hailey, the remains may have been moved there from there original resting spot

and I am still not convinced the POI, is THE poi

I agree, SRE, if these remains are indeed HD, what better way to turn LE's eye, than placing her remains near tanks, near SA's mother's home?

But, on the other hand, it does appear at this point to be very, very suspicious.

They will say they need DNA testing, but they will tell us if they think the remains "are likely" Hailey right away.

I agree, if they find pieces of clothing and/or jewelry on or near the body and it matches up to what Hailey was last seen in, I'm sure LE will come out and say so. Unless they don't have SA and BD in their sights, (highly doubt that) there is no reason I can think of that they wouldn't say so. lease:

Those five cases range in dates from 1979 to 2003.

Let's remember this guy is a layman who isn't an expert on anatomy. We need official confirmation from a coroner.

Maybe the police car is sitting by the tanks to make sure no one goes in that area.

No wooded area in Big Spring, Tx. Been through there many times. Some mesquite trees and tumble weeds, sand, etc. but no wooded area.

I only found four of them earlier today when I was looking. All four were adult men.

I think we will probably know sooner if this is NOT Hailey...that info should be available tomorrow, i.e if a male, or a much younger or older child or adult...a lot can be determined in the initial stages of autopsy, as someone else noted. If there were personal items found, the witnesses are not saying...yet one did mention the small hand, so it seems they would have also said if they found partial clothing items, etc...

I hope we hear early...I feel like most of us are as invested as anyone could be...

a child's hand.. it certainly is pointing towards the possibility of this being our Hailey.. which ffor me is building tremendous emotions that are so very conflicting.. we just have to focus on all the good that can come of this tho its very hard because at the same time its confirming something so FINAL..

Speaking of pointing towards ...upthread whomever posted the map with the blue dot as Shawn's mothers Big Springs home.. the red telephone indicating Shawn's cell phone pings that day. .and the actual spot the remains have been located...My God one could not get a more perfect and direct straight line than what those 3 coordinates form. .. almost unbelievable....

That was me reposting part of hollye's case map. I was amazed how elements of the map connect and how a perfectly straight horizontal line forms. Ultimately, and sadly, I think we will find that this is indeed Hailey. Tragic if that is true.

It would be great if the remains were wrapped up containing evidence that ties the murderer to the victim...........no matter who this person is. LE needs evidence!
Jewelry? the clothes if on the person would be unisex......T shirt and sweats. (flip flops)

I teach junior high school kids. 13 year old girls range in size from looking like a third grader to girls who could pass for over 18. Hailey was just 13. She still looked like a child. Decomposition would make hands look much smaller than they were in life.

In the video of the two tanks close to where the remains were found I could see a tree line behind them.

I dont know what mesguite trees are but these seemed pretty tall but not as tall as a oak or pecan tree.

Well, it's awful darn close to his mom's house and the description the LE describe the body to be in, along with the one guy who said it appeared to be a child due to the size of the hand, what are the odds?
