Prediction:

Nurmi will find a way to use the word "anal" before the testimony is over today. He really loves to say it and hear stories about it too.

Martinez is done. Nurmi follows-up. #jodiarias

@TrialDiariesJ: Juan points out he didn't use Encase or FTK #jodiarias #3tvarias

BOOM!!

Nurmi on damage control to explain what Autopsy is. Smith says he uses it because he helps develop it. #JodiArias

I love that the jury is asking questions. It gives me hope that they're here for the long haul. I once was worried about losing the jurors but not anymore.

It could have been just one juror asking the questions.....

So in effect, Juan just told this jury that this guy is nothing, and not qualified and nothing he says is worth salt. Short, quick and to the point! Excellent!

Two criminal cases?

Well, if he was a Prosecution witness and they were convictions, two criminals may soon be walking free.

Nurmi's turn again. He huddles with Willmott. What is autopsy? he asks. It is an open-source program, .

I see, so he has a vested interest in promoting that programme?

Nurmi has Smith explain what Autopsy is and why he chose to use it instead of Encase.

He is part of the community that builds it #JodiArias

Autopsy is open source software as apposed to software like Encase

Smith says there are many different tools, other than the one Martinez cited.

A guy can go to high school and even be a computer hobbyist, but that doesn't make him a computer forensics expert or even a "data scientist".

E.g., JA may be a slaughter-butcher, and quick with a knife, but that doesn't make her a cosmetic surgeon.

JA may have hidden under Christmas trees, but that doesn't make her a gift.

She may have wriggled through doggy doors, but... never mind.

Martinez brings up that Smith does not have any degree in computers, or any degree. #jodiarias

Bet he owns Autopsy for Dummies though.

Oh, well then...

Ridiculous.

There are tools that proper experts use to do forensic examinations and there's a reason for that.

Now at least we know a way how to find out who this idiot is.
