Juan is eluding to the fact validity scales for Jodi don't mean a thing #jodiarias #3tvarias

Absolutely, it was invalidated on it's face due to the misuse of the instrument--therefore internal validity scores will be useless.

Slightly OT: I keep seeing people talk about the glasses she wears. My husband just showed me that someone on JA side is selling them on Ebay.

If anything, the joke is one on her though. If she is dictating defense strategy, she's made more mistakes than a 1st year law student.

Nurmi wanted off of this case bad...and she's a psychopath...if I were him, I'd give just enough assistance to her to avoid grounds for an appeal for ineffective counsel and just enough rope for her to hang herself.

JMO

Is it common for attorneys to allow the client to tell them how to handle the case? This is an area I am clueless about.

I just don't understand the strategy in presenting JA in such an obviously false light and opening the door to all this rebuttal testimony.

They will have some convoluted response in their surrebuttal and explain it to this dumb jury.

What do you mean???

I mean that if the defense had not said good things about JA's character that were so obviously false, JM would never have been able to bring in the evidence of bad character. Bad character is not an aggravating circumstance under the law.

Because Jodi is driving the Defense, they're doing what she wanted, and she didn't think it through. Only wants to paint herself in the best possible, glowing phony light. No hints of promiscuity, aggressiveness, remorse, or anything. It's all because Travis was the big, bad meanie who picked on her and scrambled her brain so much that she had no choice but to rid the world and viciously slaughter him, right???

JM can't open the door by himself or have JSS open it--he can only walk through doors opened by the defense. :)

But I think the door the defense opened by saying that JA was a meek little sweetie pie concerned only about pleasing others would permit Dr. DeMarte to say she relied on those video interviews, yes.

I didn't ask the right question. Can JM show the video to the jurors now? Please say yes. :)

St. Jodi of Arias is losing her halo.

It's just too bad that Travis never knew some of these things about her (and people like Desire and Dan Freeman), they would have had a much more honest and balanced picture of her. I think it would have definitely contributed to Travis recognizing danger in her, much sooner. I think if he had known things about her from her childhood and young adult life he would have never let her in that day and possibly would have never let her have the kind of access he did to his home and his possessions.

If only...

No, but in this case Jodi kept saying in writing how unhappy she was with KN's mitigation strategy, so perhaps he decided to do things her way this time around and see how she liked it then. :)

Yeah but Lina, shouldn't KN and JW have warned her about what might happen? I mean, surely they did. Is she so arrogant that she ignored their advice?

Probably, but I doubt he wants to slow down the presentation of his case by doing so. At most, I would think he would just have Dr. DeM say she watched the videos and relied on the statements of JA's parents.

Too true.

I understand your comment now. I thought you were talking about the Prosecutor side. I see now you are talking about the Dufense!!! Thank you!!!

You don't mean that!

He wouldn't!

Would he?

Am I the only one who thinks that JSKS was replaced overnight by a real judge?

:seeya:

I think someone put :fireworks: under her and told her to get this show on the road !

:drumroll::drumroll::drumroll:
