What's next? Jodi holding up a copy of The Los Angeles Times with a quote from Richard Nixon in bold text for the jury to see? They sure do seem to think alike.

Casey Anthony did the same thing and put up a political cartoon that was Anti-DP. Funny how they become political only when it applies to them!

Thanks, for that. So it's new, since last trial-soooooo, she didn't have it thru life or when she killed Travis. OK, Nurms has lost it. Can't have it both ways.

:seeya: I've been thinking about MDLR and the fact that her contract is up end of February. Most of the information about her activities has been conjecture, based on name dropping and in-fighting from the Arias crowd, with unconfirmed suspicions about her role in tweets, funds, and art sales. However, we do know that she smuggled 'contraband' out of the jail, and that Juan pointed out to the judge that she was leaking information to MK. We also know that her demeanour in court is less than professional. She must, IMO, be a cause of concern and embarrassment to other mitigation specialists. I assume that not renewing her contract, causing her to withdraw from the case, would create judicial havoc, and is perhaps not even an option. That being said, I wonder if the County (if they are allowed to) will elect to place her on an hourly fee only, and decline to pick up her contract once sentence is passed. It would not surprise me to learn that Juan has registered a complaint against her.

Could that be what all the mystery was at the start of today's court proceedings??

speaking of Caylee's egg donor, she was on the news today, something about her defense lawyer isn't getting nuttin, or shouldn't get nuttin and that the irs and such won't get nuttin, cuz she has nuttin LOLOL

Per BK: KN is accusing Dr. D of making "false public statements " about her background alledgedly in the mag Psychology Today.

I guess when you can't attack the message (ie: evidence), you attack the messenger. Good luck with that, Nurms.

What's this? "her mental impairments prevent her from testifying in open court?" This must be recent since she had no impairments in the first trial!!! What BS!!!! She got impairments since then?

What odd sentence structure. To me it should read:

As was pointed out in her original motion, due to the fact that Ms. Arias' mental impairments prevent her from testifying in open court, Dr. Geffner is one of only three witnesses...

I am no expert on grammar or legalese, just saying...

Yep, just another example of devaluing her victim one more time. BTW hope you are feeling better now.

From that trauma you mean? yes I am thank you. The only thing that still hurts is my pocket book because I also got a ticket for losing my load on the fwy 494.00! plus the couch that was totaled =500 bucks.

I cannot stand how Nurmi or Wilmott treats the witnesses or the judge, jury etc. They have no manners and are just plain rude. With them calling names like T-Dogg and Dr. Death, to ME that means they are out of arguments. Just like when arguing with some people that are politically driven. When they don't have any more facts to debate on, they start attacking your character and calling names. It's not new, but it's not good for them either. And then for him to throw in the appellate thing, THAT is just wrong wrong wrong IMO.

exactly! She doesn't say i realized that i killed someone! Which is what i would say. I just recently was transporting a couch on the freeway and it flew out of my truck. Luckily no one was hurt and no accidents happened but i cried for 2 days because after i got home i realized that i could have killed someone! Or multiple someones. She just always refers to it in such a sanitary manner, the bad thing i did, or the incident, or when travis passed. Not when i killed him.
