#JodiArias takes HUGE step backwards to attempt to make eye contact with all jurors as they leave.

Tanisha's head is on her husband, Harold's shoulder. #jodiarias

Travis' sister Sam is crying. #jodiarias

:grouphug: For the Alexander's !!!

No way will she get any sympathy from the higher court for this tantrum. It has already been dealt with. I guess it's really over now. We have the verdict and off she goes to prison.

JSS telling her she can't speak in sealed hearing #jodiarias

Wild About Trial 2 ‏@WildaboutTrial2 · 2m2 minutes ago

#JodiArias responds that she doesn't believe it's the same thing

Apparently the goddess thinks she knows the law better than an AZ judge. Go JSS!!!

Jodi says she won't do it then. Judge asks if she's on meds...#jodiarias says no #3tvarias

Sorry this cracked me up.

So she can't say she was drugged and did not understand what the judge was saying. BEST court day EVER! So far anyway...

Recess for 15 minutes and

they they will discuss #jodiarias jury instructions.

So the only expression of "remorse" the jury will have heard is the 3 minutes worth she spat out on Oct 30, 2014. Good. That'll make the jury's decision easier.

sorry I couldn't type all of those sworn affadavits fast enough. I'm sure we can piece them together. Looks like another witness got to subvert the justice system and cross examination to impeach the Bishop.

exhibits for the jury to read, no one else will read them.

C'mon this is ridiculous. We are not in Russia Courtrooms should not be this secretive!!

OH wait, the Jury was out when Arias pulled her hissy fit?

10 dollars says tomorrow Arias will say she took her meds and now wants to allocute

What a wasted day for her drama :(

From Kiefer:

Michael Kiefer @michaelbkiefer · 3m 3 minutes ago

Stephens addresses #jodiarias. Stephens says her attorneys say she does not want to allocute. Arias says that is not correct. She wants to.

Michael Kiefer @michaelbkiefer · 3m 3 minutes ago

#jodiarias says she wants the courtroom cleared. Stephens says the court will not allow that. She says she will send the public to overflow.

Michael Kiefer @michaelbkiefer · 2m 2 minutes ago

#jodiArias says she will not allocute under those conditions. Sidebar.

Michael Kiefer @michaelbkiefer · 2m 2 minutes ago

Stephens: "You cannot allocute in a closed hearing."

Michael Kiefer @michaelbkiefer · 2m 2 minutes ago

Arias says she will not allocute under those conditions. Stephens says it is her chance to beg for mercy, show remorse, explain the crime.

Mistrial motion #9,502: Judge Stephens tried to bully Ms Arias by instructing her what to allocute.

JSS again talking to Jodi. Making sure she understands allocution, not under oath, no cross exam...directly to jury. She needs a moment and then says yes, but it doesn't change her decision.

Recess until jury instructions are ready.

Correction. Typing too fast.

Jury instructions are first in #jodiarias retrial then closing arguments. Order is: defense, state, defense.

Sizzle - JSS asks attorneys to approach.

Interesting. JA will not BUDGE. Her way or else.

Im convinced JA had this planned out all along to use in her upcoming appeals. She will try to claim that she was prevented from being able to give her allocution.

The good thing is the COA ruling should have that appeal angle squashed. Because a "perceived" danger is just that. It is "perceived" only by JA and it is a WRONG perception according to the COA. Because there is no evidence to support JA is in any danger at all.

Lets hope she doesn't change her mind tonight while pacing the floor of her cell......
