Keep saying to myself that no matter what happens this time around JA will spend the rest of her life in prison no matter what JSS decides. Cannot imagine JA will ever get parole...all her shenanigans have prevented that

Im putting my money on JA or defense leaking it to the reporter "K" who seems to have a batphone line open directly to JA and the defense. From there, it went to other reporters and now onto us.

And I agree if its found out it was the defense doing, then JA "privilege" about having private trial should be revoked because they obviously dont care about wanting it to be kept secret or even what they are testifying about.

If she did leak it, one has to wonder at what point does the court say there is nothing more we can or should do to limit media coverage, because ultimately she is the one who created and perpetuates being in the media spotlight. This is a tremendous source of frustration for me. For almost a year now, I've thought this woman will do everything in her power to try to thwart the judicial process and so far, she has not proven me wrong. I'm not talking about Nurmi and the obligatory motions he has to file, I'm directing this at Arias.

Exactly. If they see her getting special treatment, she may have already won a couple of them over. When it is all said and done, JSS will be ridiculed for years. Don't think she thought this through.

The only thing that I can see working for JA (secret witness or not) is if she threw herself on the mercy of the court. And what are the odds of that happening?

the jurors are just folks like us. If I saw that this killer had the whole courtroom at her advantage, provided by the judge, I would think she had maybe been wrongfully accused and I should give credence to what she has to say. For me, this is very prejudicial against the State. I guess JM didn't care. But I can't help but think that JM and JSS did not think this through and it's going to backfire.

Now I realize at the end of the day, Jodi will be going off to Perryville. My only hope is that she is somehow kept in confinement for the rest of her sorry life. I wish I saw something redeemable in her. I don't want to hate her. I wish she had true remorse and had admitted it in the beginning with true remorse and had asked for LWOP. But she has been tying to blackmail the prosecution since she was arrested. And waht really unnerved me was the gall that she had in sending his grandmother flowers and an 18 page letter. Ugh! I could literally beat her myself.

It's ok. But you are aware of how he talked really ugly about the Alexander family for all to hear in the courtroom and KCL heard him and called him out on it, aren't you? I mean, how does one like a guy like that?

It is a fact that someone posted on a website BEFORE the media were sent packing that: the media would be sent packing, that CMJA had asked for this, and that she would be testifying that day (not allocuting).

It's also a fact that this was posted on a website officially sanctioned by CMJA and Auntie Sue.....sanctioned during what appeared to be an illegal 3 way phone call from jail that her own supporters made sure was broadcast far and wide.

It can be documented that Maria the mitigator posts on that website in a walled off "vent" room for the "inner circle." (Screen grabs).

The person posting about CMJA testifying thought he was posting in that secret little chat room but oops...it was on the main site instead. The post was deleted within minutes, but not before it was captured with a screen grab and widely posted on social media.

Those are the facts. At the time of the post , the media didn't know they were going to be kicked out. Who knows whether or not JM saw it coming.

After the secret testimony ended , who from inside the room could have leaked? The whole list:

-The judge-JSS
-Jurors
-JM
-Alexander family
-court staff
- Nurmi and Wilmott
- Maria DL

IMO there are only 3 logical possibilities, and ALL are on the DT.

Adding...either Troy Hayden is unprofessional enough to report rumors as sourced facts or CMJA took the stand and he received confirmation of that from at least 2 other people who knew she testified and the gist of what she said.

It's an insane world. If I have learned anything in life it is that ANYTHING is possible.

Time will tell.

I'm presumptuous , then. And I believe that story less by the moment.

To believe it, you'd have to believe in those several miraculous moments when some secret person accidentally stumbled upon CMJA on the stand, that secret person also managed to understand before turning and fleeing (or being escorted out) that CMJA was retelling the same story , nothing new.

Then you would have to accept that the court didn't speak to or admonish this secret person, that this person who saw by accident decided to seek out the media ...to ask what to do?

Last, you must accept that either 3 people - the 3 sources- stumbled into that same room....maybe they took turns and nobody noticed? Or nobody noticed a small crowd of media lurking near the closed doors?

Or 2 people inside closed court were asked to verify to the excluded media that the one secret stumbler- inner got it right. And the insiders agreed to do so.

Jodi has Noooooooooooooooo mitgating factors that can help her against receiving Death. So it should only take 2 days for both sides to argue on why or why not should she get the death penalty. If JA was a guy and TA was a woman; We wouldn't be discussing this. TA's family has been through enough. So the judge needs to skip the preambles and have both sides use 1 day each to sway the jury their way and then let the jury decide. Dang.

Yes, KCL showed us the screen shot of that post. And the JM Facebook page also has the screen shot so he is aware now! I always said, Maria and Keifer. We know Maria is dirty, it has been documented. We know Keifer is all for Jodi. I can't imagine why JW and KN would risk their careers being so dirty but worse things have happened. I am guessing Maria, Keifer and Wilmott. I think they all drank Jodi's koolaid; the manipulative being that she is. Maria should have been fired long ago!

Marking my spot.. Is Jodi going o the stand and act crazy enough to get life? I don't see any of this jury letting her off with any chance of parole. not after seeing Travis's autopsy photos.

Maybe we're thinking alike. A crazy idea struck me ... Maybe JA has cooked up this scheme to say all the stress and PTSD from abuse her whole life - daddy, Travis, Juan, whoever else - has rendered her to become a whimpering, babbling lunatic when Juan cross-examines her. She just can't handle taking the stand in front of a room full of people and cameras without breaking down into unconsolable sobbing and incoherence.

I can find about 10 things wrong with that angle, but since truth is stranger than fiction in this trial, who knows? I wouldn't put anything past her twisted mind and whatever she might concoct with the help of her defense team.

I thought of that... maybe the whole idea is to let the jury see Juan "going Martinez" on our poor little mentally ill young girl. As has been said a million times, it only takes one...

eta: and since this is a new jury, would they necessarily be able to recognize when Jodi "goes Jodi" just for the sake of pushing JM's buttons? I'd think they would, actually, because her smirks and word-games are blatant.
