Revisit Photo of Caylee Crying in Red Shirt - was it the last ever taken?

Respectfully, the issue of whether or not this is a tantrum, normal for a 2 year old or if KC is a bad mother for taking the photo are all irrelevant issues. The relevant issue is that it was at night, Caylee looks damp and it could be from swimming earlier. It appears to be taken indoors with dark furniture with square legs in the background. One of KC's friends commented that when Caylee was young they couldn't hold her because she was so attached to CA and KC that she would cry. The possible relevance of the photo has nothing whatsoever to do with KC being a mean mother, an insensitive mother or how many people's children were photographed when crying and whether or not they are within the standard of normal as parents. (We assume they are.) The issue of the photograph raises a possibility that Caylee may have been in a motel room and possibly in the presence of a stranger. AZLawyer's suggestion to try to find out if this photo is dated by upload to photobucket date or by cell phone date is an excellent suggestion. Somebody also suggested that someone ask NG to ask LP for further details.

What would KC be doing in the parking lot of a hotel at midnight on Sunday night. She didn't have money for a hotel. If Caylee was inside, who was with her?


The argument that if it was relevant it would already be in the doc dump or SA doesn't want to complicate the case are IMHO red herring points. Today's news is the leads were not properly followed and somebody got fired. This lead may be extremely important because the death bands peg the time at 2.6 days and that would match midnight Sunday to Wednesday afternoon of the borrowing a shovel. This is a relevant discussion that could further pinpoint the time and place of the death and possibly lead to further information whether there was another perp involved.

How you make the Jump that this Photo was possibly taken in a motel room in the presence of a stranger is beyond me.

Once again, there is no evidence that Casey was In a hotel parking lot on June 15th .

There were thousands of tips called in of Caylee & Casey sightings.

I still don't understand what evidence there is to support that this particular tip..."The Hotel Sighting" is valid.

Now really a picture of a little child with a leaf from a plant that is
an illegal drug ! ! !

I find these people are very disturbing to me ! ! ! JMO !

I am just not pleased that so many people think if you buy a
child a whole bunch of toys and clothes and dress them up and take
pictures of them... that it is ok to
use them as a photo op for disturbing pictures ! It really does
bother me !

When I clicked on it before it had a date of "04-?-08" - I don't remember the exact date but wondered then why it was used for this thread and now the link is changed and the original date with it ----- This is IMO a bogus and totally misleading thread

The "leaf" isn't what you think it is. It is a Buckeye leaf to go with the OHIO STATE BUCKEYE'S jersey.

the original photo had a date attached to it - now with the photo changed into just a link the date is gone and that date was april of '08

I am sorry that my post was so hostile - although how can we discuss a photo as possibly being the last photo of Caylee if the photo was taken in April? And that date is what was attached to the photo and now the photo is gone and a link is there now with that date gone ----

I think part of the thread is trying to figure out when the picture was taken. Any dates you see are most likely just when it was uploaded to someone's hosting account and not the date of the picture. If we have the date of the picture it does make the point moot, so let me know where you see the date.
I personally don't think that this picture is related to her murder, but there are those that are trying to investigate the picture and see if there is a correlation.
It has been in interesting discussion when it's on topic LOL.

I am guessing because they found her without clothing and it is a known fact in LE that serial killers usually keep "souvenirs" as do mothers who murder their toddlers.

I thought this was another LP rumor, (like the bathing suit) she had shorts and the remains of a tshirt (the neck w/ identifying writing and letters that spelled Big trouble comes in small packages or something to the effect) the tag is from a Target Line and they found another tee in her drawer at home with same Target ID

I have been looking for the previous thread about this and cannot for the life of me locate it. JBean is right that the margins were blown...we looked and talked and argued and bickered this picture at great length. Some of us thought she might be inside the trunk of a car and others could make out tables in the back-ground. Some of us thought she was abused and some thought she was just the luckiest little girl alive. I cannot recall what the thread was called, but it may have gotten locked or moved? I cannot recall as I am half brain dead from listening to these depositions all day today. OH MY GOD! What a mess!

It was regarding the red spots/rash/juice stains on Caylee's face, possible Chloroform rash. No idea what it was called, sorry.

It is in the active folder in another folder labeled 'pictures' and it is 515 and also th_515. Both are in black and white. There is also a pic of KC grabbing an Ohio State shirt like Caylee's which is 981 and th_981. That picture has a modified date of January 8,2008 at 5:03 am. I think they are wearing matching shirts in pic 515.

I also found an image for the Ohio State U game schedule for 2007 in the same folder which was modified on August 15,2007 at 4:41 pm.

Ok - Don't kill me....

I haven't read this whole thread but seeing that picture breaks my heart. I have to admit - at one time a few months ago I took a picture of my daughter when she was having a tantrum. It was with my camera phone that was arms length away when we were in the middle of "discussing" that there is no ice cream -really frozen yogurt- before dinner. The point of that was so show her what she looks like when acting completely unreasonably. After I took the picture - I showed it to her and said very calmly, "Marley, you want to see your picture, you want to see what you look like?" I took her lovingly in my arms, she held onto me, stopped crying, and said , "mama, why she cryin'?" I explained it was her and that if we behave like big kids we get what we want, but if we throw tantrums nobody wins. She then sat down, ate her dinner, and had some frozen yogurt. Not only that, she only ate 1/2 what I gave her and told me she was full and wanted to save it.

My point??? Taking a picture of a screaming child is not necessarily abuse, neglect, lack of love, caring or compassion. My daughter is hugged and loved all day every day.

That being said - never - NEVER - NEVER - was she in such a state of hysteria that Caylee is in in this picture. It is sad, it is wrong, and it is unforgivable what happened to Caylee.
