Yikes, the post above has the video frozen on the scene that disturbed me.

Looking at this picture, and thinking back on the looks of a few of the other women who have been on Team KC, I can't help but think that there's no way that KC would have had 2 words to say to these women if she wasn't in her current situation. And I'm not bringing their looks to be mean toward them. Conventionally beautiful is not the most important thing one can be. And despite our differences in opinion on this case, I'm sure these women are educated, driven, caring and accomplished. All lovely traits. But as a person who is all about appearances, I think KC would have had nothing but snide remarks if she had seen these ladies in her "real" life.

All called jurors have been admonished to NOT read news, internet, etc...so this "breaking news" of her involvement (and history) shouldn't be known to them, thereby possibly tainting their impression of the defense team....

This is bloody scary. Did they bring her on so she can present life in prison and how it won't be that bad because she has a wonderful husband who lives there everyday? Interesting that her husband, Oscar Ray Bolin remains on death row today.

What's interesting is she will consult with her clients on death row, bill the state of Florida for her mileage and hotel expenses, all the while visiting her husband at the same time. I'm sure this may not be illegal (not sure), but if anything unethical. Then again, anyone who would leave their husband and children for a serial killer isn't playing with a full deck of cards.

I'll admit I haven't read much about this woman but I know she's claiming that her incarcerated-for-life partner is innocent and she's on Team KC, which is pleading not guilty. So does she ever meet anyone who is guilty? Or does she only visit the special prisons where they only keep the innocent people?

I realise some are against the death penalty and fight against it for that reason and maybe not as much for each individual, but this woman seems a bit off, like she might actually believe all her prison pals are innocent.

That youtube video is very sad. Those young ladies are still crying and the one doing the project was 6 when her mother left. That should show her that her behavior had long lasting effects on her kids. When Oscar Bolin was apologizing in the video, all I could think was he was pure evil, that behavior looked so manipulative to me. Then at the end when her mother is giving the don't start something you can't finish speech, I was thinking, wow, she sounds like ICA, it's all about me, me, me!

Today in court there was a time when she went over to sit with ICA and they were having a conversation, ICA was whispering to her and she was making faces like she was incredulous. IMO it was really inappropriate.

She fits right in!

The daughter she was speaking to was only SIX when her mom dumped her and her sisters for her Rapist/Murderer boyfriend. And mom has the nerve to give her the ' start what you finish' speech? And the girl asks her mother if she ever worried about what her girls were going through and Mom says " No, I just thought you all would be okay." What an insensitive answer to a very revealing question. Sorry, but this woman is a moron when it comes to mothering her children.

I think KC would want to be the prettiest in the group so she would choose to be around others who are less attractive and less fit. She would see herself as doing them a favor by being their friend. I have a niece who is very like KC and she would never go out with someone who was as good looking or better looking than she is. Her ego can't handle the competition. She feels that others are lucky that she lets them be around her. IMO, KC is like this as well. Moo.

Two responses. First, what you said is true and holds true today. KC still hangs with the "less attractive" people because they do something for her. Before it was making her feel better but now it's to get her out of her mess.

Second, I agree with you that she'd hang with who she thought she was better looking than. Except I don't think she would be at all nice to or about these specific women. I think she'd befriend who she thought were less attractive girls her own age, yes. But in my mind I can see KC and a few friends walking through the mall, AL walks by and KC snickers, "Gross. I'll never look like that. What a loser." I also think she'd think the same about RB or DS or even CM. Anyone older looking or not perfect would be seen as ugly and mockable. Look at CA and the 10 nonsense. Like mother like daughter.
