Circumstances of disappearence :

Sandra lived with her family in Berlin Kreuzberg. In the evening, she planned to go to the gym as usual. Before that, Sandra left the apartment together with her mother around 3 p.m.. They parted ways at Kottbusser Damm because Sandra wanted to buy a birthday present for her mother. She was then seen by a saleswoman in the book department of a department store. Since then, there has been no trace of Sandra.

A few minutes before Sandra disappeared, a 13-year-old girl was approached by a strange man.
The girl says she was approached that day by a stranger on the Kottbusser Damm. He asked her to accompany him to hold a spirit level. The girl refused. She described the man as “middle-aged, short and chubby”.
A short time later, Sandra must have passed by there, as this was her way back home. Whether this incident has anything to do with Sandra's disappearance is uncertain, but possible.

In the decade several children disappeared from Berlin, Germany. Whether these cases are connected is not certain:
  • Manuel Schadwald, 1993
  • Till Kratzsch, 1995
  • Marcel Hermeking, 1997
A reward totaling 10,000 euros is being offered, half of which comes from Sandra's parents. Numerous tips are also received. But until now, they all led nowhere.

Sandra was mentioned briefly in this article about children and teenagers missing from Berlin: 89 of them currently listed as being missing for longer than 3 months.

...Sandra was 12 when she was last seen in Berlin-Kreuzberg in November 2000, wearing black jeans and a blue quilted winter jacket. Despite high rewards from parents and police, she remained missing...
