Dozens of people close to Sherry returned to the area to search for her for a third weekend on March 9 and 10, combing roads and trails off Northwest Bay Logging Road, where the mother of two vanished on Feb 15.

A massive search and rescue effort followed the 45-year-old’s disappearance, and on Feb. 23, Sherry’s truck was located. According to Galbraith, it was parked in a ditch in the snowline.

“It looks like it’s hung up on a rock, so that’s what hindered her ability to get her vehicle out of that situation,” said Galbraith.

She is an avid hiker. It was mentioned in the video at the above news link that Sara didn't "take her dog with her this time".

In the following earlier article it states that they don't know why she was in that backcountry area, although it is a recreation area open to the public.

The missing woman’s vehicle, a grey 2017 Nissan Frontier pickup truck, was located off a logging road about 20 kilometres south of the intersection of Highway 19 and Northwest Bay Logging Road on Friday afternoon.

Searchers say the truck was found in a ditch about 15 metres off the logging road, though Sherry herself was nowhere to be found.
