Thornsberry testifies that Tim's mother and her sister came to her house to try to kidnap Tim Jr. She says the police were called, and they were both arrested.

She continues that Jones didn't really have a lot of friends growing up. She said Tim Jr. went back-and-forth between her house and his dad's house.
When referencing the car accident, she says he seemed to be alright.

Thornbserry continues by saying her grandson tried to convert her many times to join his church. She says he "wouldn't talk about anything else" except the Bible.
She adds when he became a dad, he would read his kids the Bible all the time and he would not let them watch TV.

Thornsberry says Jones insisted that they "hid his mother away" and was upset that he couldn't see her.
Thornsberry found her at a hospital in Syracuse, and arranged a meeting.
Jones ended up meeting his mother, but he didn't want her to meet his children.
