I'm so worried her relatives will get custody of that baby.. it makes me sick!

I'm so worried her relatives will get custody of that baby.. it makes me sick!
WHY?
the last video showed them not wanting to be filmed. I do not blame them for that.
I do not think it means they are bad folks at all.

ANY NEWS ON THIS CASE?
Is the baby OK?
Is the Mother still in jail?

Because they feel that what the mom did wasn't wrong. Look up earlier reports of the story. Instead of coming forth and saying She needs psych help, what she did was horrible etc..
it was just defend defend....
They even went so far as to say IF the baby is hers then we'll take care of it.

Sorry but very very wrong

If what the husband says is true, she knows how to manipulate those around her to get her way. Very sad, I hope this baby goes to a caring family.

GREENVILLE, SC (AP) - A mother who abandoned her newborn in the toilet of a South Carolina sports arena has avoided prison time.

Jessica Blackham was sentenced to a year of house arrest and three years of probation Wednesday after pleading guilty.

The baby is developing normally and Blackham gave up her parental rights to him, authorities said. She has joint custody of her older daughter.

Judge Ned Miller asked the 26-year-old mother, who had no prior criminal record, why she never asked for help.
'I don't know. The only thing I can think of is I didn't realize what was going on or because of my loss of blood I wasn't thinking clearly,' said Blackham, who added she was told in the hospital she nearly died from the blood loss from injuries she suffered giving birth.
...

'Miss Blackham, you are not standard fare up here and I think your attorney's assessment that you will not be back is accurate,' Miller said.
...

Blackham was given a five-year prison sentence, but she won't serve it as long as she successfully completes her home confinement and probation. She also was ordered to get counseling and face random drug tests.

I always wondered what happened to this case....it started out weird...stayed weird and then seemed to just fall off the face of the earth... I always felt that she left that baby there intentionally, and may not have been the only one there that night that knew what she had done....sheesh...poor little guy, thank God for the janitor that got that baby out of that cold toilet and wrapped/warmed him up. I cant imagine what this kid is going to turn out like if he knows from early on that he was just dumped in a public toilet bowl. prayers to that little boy, hes going to need them. jmho

Well, I'm sure somebody will come along and try to psychoanalyze this subhuman and slap an excuse on as to why she did what she did.
