The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s assistance in the following areas.

Missing persons -

Joseph Edward Dixon AKA Tater

On April 24, 2020, Joseph Edward Dixon AKA Tater was last seen driving a black- colored 2020 Nissan Rogue SUV in the Hartsville Ruby Road and Bullard Ford Road area of Chesterfield County. The vehicle was located, but Dixon was not. After an extensive search and following all leads, Dixon has not been located. As of February 4, 2021, Joseph Edward Dixon AKA Tater has not been seen or heard from by his family members and close friends.

Chesterfield County woman pleads for information to find her son

Cathy Helms of Chesterfield County is pleading for someone to come forward with information in the disappearance of her son.

The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office said Dixon was last seen on April 24 near Hartsville Ruby and Hawkins Road in Chesterfield County.

Helms said she worries day and night about what happened to her son.

"My fear is that somebody has hurt him. And I wasn't there with him. Because I'm supposed to protect him. I'm his mom."

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for Joseph Dixon, aka “Tater.”
He is wanted for outstanding warrants. He is not a suspect in the April 25 a shooting at the Pageland Place Apartments.
Anyone with information on Dixon is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 843-623-2101, dispatch at 843-623-6838, or the CCSO tip line at 843-287-8072.

Hmm couldn't find anything.
I searched the list of outstanding warrants in Chesterfield County but his name isn't on there.

Found a bunch of judicial things
