SC - Kelli Hastings, 45, found in burned car, North Charleston, 8 Dec 2017

The coroner in Greenwood, SC has just identified the burned body found in Greenwood SC on December 8th as 45 year old Kelli Hastings of N. Charleston SC. The following article states charcoal briquets we're in the car and that it is suspected the fire was intentionally started. The article also mentions Kelli's friend having reported her missing 3 days prior to Dec. 8th. The same friend also said Kelli had fought with a man before she disappeared.

"The car had burned several hours before a neighbor discovered it and reported it to authorities."

“I called 911 and told them there was a body in the car," said (a neighbor who) lives nearby .
He went to the scene after another neighbor told him that a charred car was parked in the middle of the road.

Also from the article, the license plates appear to have been removed and the vehicle is registered to an owner in Charleston but the remains are not that of the owner.
